Ok is there because nobody else is available. But yes. He was poor and if he doesn’t improve greatly we need a better winger. 
Credence certainly deserved a spot on the extended bench. Big surprise he isn’t there. 
Stimson played decent and was  the best halfback on the night 😉
Flanno is and always was rubbish. 

He has loads of potential but I don’t think he is ready yet. But will be a decent first grader or better eventually. I hope he kills it on Monday and is the answer. But I doubt it. 

Stimson turned over the ball a couple of times.
Towards the end of last season I thought he was going ok.
In the trial I thought he was rubbish.
Funny how we can watch the same player and form a different option.

Burns on the bench and a possible replacement for Ok.

The good news is Ok can't possibly drop the ball more, the only way is up.

I was off chops watching the trial to be honest. But I did see Stimson promote the ball much more than any other half. That was my point.

That was the best way to watch it.

Obviously Flanno is way down the wicking order because he got so little game time. So I’m assuming we are shopping him around. But do the Dragons need a halfback? 

I don't think they're over blessed with talent.  We can only hope. We'd obviously have to burn some money, but that's ok, as it stands we we look like burning his whole contract.

We have the players, but you can tell its a team of strangers. It might take us best part of 3 months just to understand each others games and abilities and weaknesses.
Personally, im disappointed because it seems our guys met just yesterday.

What i find most disappointing is that Hynes already looks like he has worked on some combos and has put them on show.

We dont seem to have trained on any combos.

Even the 1 or 2 week camp of All Stars returned a better level of cohesion and combos

Well on a real football field, most of them did just meet today, some last week.

Cronk got it right, it’ll take 8 weeks. Really was always gonna be the way.

The Dogs season, and Barrett’s future, will hang on the Origin stretch where we’ve got the best draw of our season. The hope would be to jag the first two rounds against Cows and Broncs, which is iffy, maybe fluke another one or two before Origin, and then grab the majority of that easier stretch.

Either way Barrett’s future will be known post Origin I predict.

But again, I’m not that upset about what I seen tonight, last week upset me more. Defence you fix or don’t, attack’s got to have some plan and as limited as it was it looked smoother on and off the ball than last week…

Defence always worried me more thsn attack..

For now I would settle for fewer dropped balls, fewer penalties and more discipline.

Its worrying how absent Dufty is from last line of defence. Id give him some benefit of doubt if he at least holds on and falls over the tryline with the attacker, but to barely get a hand on him is NOT a good look

In attack it looked like a lack of combination at times something that will improve.
