3 centre backs fail to pick up a Coventry centre back ghosting behind the goalkeeper and can run and head from the corner. To be fair Faes let the scorer run but as he was watching another at the far post. Zero communication there.
Long ball just not sees Vestergaard at sea. Coventry are good. Souttar will near definitely start against Burton. I just hope it's not that cup banana peel the coach can use. Coady might return too and needs practice. With Faes still likely to leave, I think Coady and Souttar are the centre back pairing to go for promotion. Doyle has done well as a LB today.

faes and vestergaard getting hammered on the leicester forum. That doesn't mean souttar will play mind you. Sometimes coaches double down. We all remember Holger's antics

Tricky on Twitter to see which Souttar is being written about. John played for Rangers yesterday.
Anyway, Coventry lead. Vestergaard not seen as favourable. I'm sure the coach looked at his CV and gave him the nod. Good player in the last but he's almost an unfit invalid these days.

+x+x+xSouttar bench. Odd 3 other centre backs are playing but I can't seem to identify who would be left back. More so a wing back. Probably looking at Mavididi to cover lots of ground on the left flank. I suppose this increases Souttar's chances if 3 centre back needs to play. Cup game at Burton midweek. Hindsight is 20/20 but Wolves & Bournemouth were both chasing him as well before he signed with Leicester & they both stayed up. Obviously no guarantees that he would be starting for them in the Prem, but to come back to the Championship & not be starting, when Stoke just won 4-0 yesterday. It must be a massive kick in the guts. It's a long season ahead but it can't be so that there's isn't a club out there screaming for a good centre back. It's a fact it's all about the right click with the manager's plans and this one doesn't seem to be the case. Seeing Souttar in this situation makes him appear to be someone who can barely play the game well. It's totally irrational to think that. The rise and fall can happen so quickly. There's an anchor on his ankle now compared to the November May period where he really flourished and was confident. souttar is probably in the top half of epl cbs in the end it shows it isn't just about quality but about luck we have more abroad now, so hopefully we develop enough depth that we can handle some bad luck. It's also a long season with 46 games. You would think he would get some time

Most apps have Faes at RB then Vestergaard Doyle Ricardo. Ricardo is a right back anyway. It's definitely so kind if hybrid mobile defensive group plan.

Plenty of football mid week coming up with League Cup. Anticipate starts for Glover and Silvera. I think Elder and Dougall will face off. I don't think Triantis will start today but he should play against Crewe.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM-Oa9KhGJQ Boyle goals from midweek. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xmx4QQOrCgY Yengi goal at death. 1:29. Surely a pen for a grab on Yengi there? This EFL ref is actually a good one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REKJtMeHb6E Nice to see Bilokapic out there. Good saves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YD6VRBmH9JsGood header by Jack Iredale to score first https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kw7WXUF7khAAMB well involved https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FevkUClulY0That last play and shot by Silvera. That's the way. Doing that in the Championship coming the 'a lEaGUe'

Disappointing no Gilsenan for Blackburn nor Marlee Francois for Bristol after both getting good senior minutes in preseason. I hope both gets loans, both need senior football ASAP. Sad to read that Marlee Francois did get a jersey number, which suggests he is on outer. Also concerning to have heard nothing about Tyrese Francois and Caleb Watts. T Francois needs a move, Watts out of contract.

+x+xReally positive to see all 4 Aussie Hearts starting the season as First XI players. Fans had a lot of positive to say about Atkinson. Rated MOTM by many. Nieuwenhof had a mixed debut. Fans noted his movement into space, passing etc but apparently a bit anonymous and struggled with the pace as you'd expect. He'll grow into the league but will probs take him a month or two before he is really playing to his level. O'Neill got pillord of the Standard forums despite the positive reactions from the first game. 2 losses from 2 and a bad game and he is getting the normal Australian player treatment of being viewed as not good enough. I'm sure he'll come good. Unfortunately, Australian players and managers will forever carry this "identity-burden" on their shoulders whenever they play in Europe.

Big day of action.
A very disappointing result for Boro losing 1:0 to Millwall. However a lot of comment that McGree was the one trying things and Silvera seemed to inject positivity.
Yengi with an extra time equaliser for Portsmouth to the delight of their fans. I look forward to a big Sunday morning YouTube highlight session.
Dougall helped close out a win. Elder came on in a 2:1 loss. JRB with many plaudits in a 3:0 win. AMB cleansheet in 1:0 win. Nice to see Bouzanis start in what was a 1:0 loss in which Bilokapic got a clean sheet. An early goal for Jack Irelade in a Bolton win.
St Pauli with a goalless draw but my Irvine with a golden one on one at a walker's pace and it was parried. Another good chance on box stopped and a very good shot required a top save. Metcalfe industrious.
No Hrustic in practice game today. Was left with the other half of this massive squad to do drills.
2:0 for Hearts with Nieuwenhof getting an hour, Devlin 84 and full for the others.
Full game and 1:0 win for Davidson away to Genk. 1:0 loss for Liege last night. O'Neill involved but chatter suggest the team is still finding it's way and it'll take time.

+x+xDoesn't seem Toure is in the Paris FC squad tonight. Bummer Yeah probably still has to be registered to play and have his suitability in tactics. 2:0 loss today so hopefully we'll see him very soon.

Final 20 for Silvera which is massive considering how situation 2 years ago. Such a rise and shows what can be achieved with minutes and drive. Yet a very disappointing 1:0 home loss for Boro to Millwall. Early days but a exciting day of EFL football.

+x+x+x+xSunderland Ipswich tomorrow. Leicester too but I don't think we'll see Souttar. So dropping down to the championship and Souttar will be sitting on the bench?? How can it go downhill so suddenly for Souttar? I don't care what anyone says. He's of EPL grade and then most certainly Championship. Issue is a new manager comes in with his 'style'. Ex City and loans in a City talent (utter garbage against Liverpool). I read the coach likes centre backs who are mobile and can pass to a target. Did he not see the ball to Leckie vs France or the hunt down against Tunisia? Sure Souttar isn't Cannavaro with movement, but he's fine in most departments. It's hard to blame any manager who want their players. It's just rotten timing and shouldn't be a reflection on Souttar's abilities. He's probably ranked 5th now unless Faes goes. He must push for a Championship loan. I think Luton or Sheffield United on loan would be a good way to get games and help them out. Main thing is to play. Sometimes going up to EPL to quick and to the wrong team could ruin your career. Brandon Rodgers hand picked him and rate him very highly and then Dean Smith came along and put him straight on the bench and now the new coach. He must to ask himself what did he do wrong? I watched Leicester last season and Faes has been awful. I just hate these coaches who come in and invariably it's our players who get shafted. News in Coady is out tomorrow so it'll be Faes and Vestergaard or Doyle. Vestergaard is seasoned yet Souttar is at the height of his career. You're right, it's the manager's pick and Rodgers was done with Vestergaard and others. A new chapter and I anticipate a deadline day loan in fact where Souttar pushes that he wants to and has to play. Hell, Stoke would take him. It's somewhat awkward but it's all an arrangement for each part.
