well the highlights look less entertaining than the game since it was just one scrappy goal in the end

we didn't create a lot of chances it has to be said, for all the skill in passing and shielding the ball in tight spaces. But tactically it was a bit iffy. In defence we looked pretty organized but it was just so helter skelter with no rhthym changes and not a lot of runs in behind to create space.

Still individually in possession and as a team in defence it was a joy to watch

The positive thing for us is that all 3 of Brook, Italiano and Tilio are eligible for the next Olympics so we are hopefully sorted when it comes to quality wingers. 

If Arzani playing Indonesia he will be invincible too. Don't 4get Indonesia is the bottom team in world cup qualifier and been outplayed by Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. They r the team known as ASEAN bad defence and yet we can not penetrate or looking like scoring. On ASEAN page they think this Australia only has physical advantage and nothing else.

Agree with the likes of Tilio, Italiano, Brook would make for an exciting attacking midfield trio behind the striker who could be either of the likes of Wood, Kuol, Botic.

Just need to sort out the fullbacks and maybe the right combination in centre midfield and from that it looks to be a good team on paper.

Job done and probably a better performance than the last game especially defensively, not bad for a C or D team.

Dude this is Australia's C or D team at best, if anything Australia will get better with its more of its best players to come.

Australia should have won easy with the amount of chances they had to score, so stop trolling.

Yep definitely our C Team which is why I’m indulging in Brook’s performances a little bit, because he had to do so much on his own and regularly beat 4 or 5 players which still takes a lot of talent to do, even if it’s against Indonesia. 

Another interesting observation is that it’s quite clear to me we’ll be doing a Japan and using the U23 Asian Cup to blood our Olympics-age eligible players (2001 born and younger), as for this qualification campaign only 3 players in our entire 23-man squad are too old for the Olympics.

Personally I think this is an exciting approach that should give our squad an extra boost at Paris 2024.

Here’s hoping our 2001 boys absolutely smash it in the A-League this season.

I really don't recall how things were done in past but this camp like the pre Olympics one is great to get them all together in a gold shirt. Calendar a bit messy now. I heard of youth camps in South America with Dave Mitchell in his youth time.

Yes seeing some brand new names and regulars makes it a good mix. Ruiz Diaz without a club. In hindsight you wonder how he'd have developed with two full A League seasons instead of this lower Polish journey.
