+x+x+x+xFA nightmare... WU v Nix grand final WU are far and away the worst thing to ever happen to the A League. They drag the whole competition into the gutter. The salt will be real if they win the league. And now that its unlikely Victory will, i hope they do. You want your local derby rivals to win the league? That is so odd. I guess thats why I just don't understand the Isuzu League. If South doesn't win the league every year I hope every other club forfeits the rest of the season and ends up equal last....... I’ve never understood the logic. when Avondale likely dumps us out of cup next week I hope the whole thing gets called off lol. Look at the cros, they could start their own league with all the teams they follow

After today's loss to the rebounded Pheonix, Western have only won 1 of their last 6 matches (and even then that was thanks to the idiocy of the Brisbane keeper). Their once solid defence has lost shape with the team having failed to keep a clean sheet in 7 matches.
Are they slipping up at the end of the season yet again?

Article is behind a paywall but essentially 50 million spent so far (no mention of ownership of the Newcastle license but I guess 25 million spent on consultancy fees might cover this....) No builder partner, no building planning permission for the (now 3 sided) stadium and they will be playing in their 250 seat training ground by the end of next year. or maybe the one after or ......? Also, they dont have the 50 million to build the mega Werribee Wembley stadium (was closer to 200 million If I recall but meh, imaginary numbers are all the same after a while) but confident they will get it and if not welcome government funding..... HAhahahahaha if i was a new dawner Id be riding these guys out on a rail........ I'm convinced at this point that when (or if) the 5k stadium and training facilities are built they will call it their home ground.

Heheh not exactly mate, just CEO ( for now) of the trust .... our lease is strong just ask the WU boys:).... I'm told the pay offs aren't as steep anymore, after being burnt by the South Africans she has reduced her rates.. thats what happens when you believe you'll get "bricks and morter" and instead your asking your fellow councillors for funds for haul roads and training pitches.
