yer meaning nothing is for sure as yet, Levy hasn't giving it the green light for its around half the $$$'s he wants from researching, alot of press noise imo. In Levy's shoes I wouldn't let him go (unless he gets over his 100+k) under the Clubs circumstances and new gaffa. He's their only "ace" looking ahead for the season. https://www.espn.com.au/football/story/_/id/37921960/kane-unavailable-transfer-amid-bayern-interest-sourceshttps://www.snl24.com/kickoff/worldnews/english-premier-league/harry-kane-reaches-agreement-with-new-club-bayern-munich-20230627

+xYeah they have, they signed Vicario from Empoli. Reckon Ange made this call. +xIt is still too early to know how much Ange is going to be backed. Yes, we have all heard this all before, but the Munn signing might suggest Levy will be taking a step back. TH do seem to be pretty active in the transfer window with Maddison about to be confirmed. Of course, TH really do need to rejuvenate their squad. A lot of dead wood to be cleared.

Would not fancy being any slack Spurs player having to face up to Ange and Jedi.

won't be any worse than facing Conte when in rage, Ange will just be blunt thats it his style, players know when in favour or not long before this tenure.

+xWould not fancy being any slack Spurs player having to face up to Ange and Jedi. This is what I'm going to enjoy. Seeing the smile wiped of the face of the returning loan players will be great. Some will be sold where others will be trained up. Players like Lo Celso, Gil are probably on the way out but may also be included. I think the centre midfield will be very energetic with Hojberg, Bissouma and Bentancur and maybe even young Skipp.

Leicester have agreed a deal worth up to £10m to sign Harry Winks from Tottenham 🤝
Winks is free to leave Spurs after spending last season on loan at Sampdoria 🇮🇹

Maddison to Spurs confirmed. It's going to be awesome seeing him under Ange. Kyogo should be incoming too.

Ta, sounds promising. The Maddison signing is a good one, some serious firepower up top (if Kane stays even better) just a CB or two and I hope Spurs fans will be pleased this window?

Harry Winks to Leicester. I think it'd be good for Spurs to sell off all the loan players and reinvest the money. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5oJo4DMpu0Ange interview

Sergio Reguilon (LB) is returning from his loan with Atletico Madrid. He's worth $10 million. Was out of favour with Conte who utilised wing backs rather than full backs. I'm curious what Postecoglou can get out of some of the under performing players.

So it's sweat it out for 2 weeks then fly to Australia, Thailand, Singapore and then a home game vs Donetsk the weekend before Brentford.
Spurs play Stevenage 3 days after the Roma game in Singapore so they might send a couple back early. I don't think any will leave anyone remotely key to the first squad in England.

Ange needs to swing the Axe and get guys like Lloris, Sessengon, Sanchez, Ndombele, Tangana, (ideally Dier) etc.
These guys clearly don't want to be at Hotspur Way.
Clearing the bad apples is just as important as the signings.

Apparently Spurs are signing Manor Solomon as a back up LW on a free transfer because he is able to leave Shakhtar Donetsk on a free because of the war. He played for Fulham on loan last season.
As for players leaving there has to be more than 5 due to squad player limitations. Hopefully they can get rid of Lloris, Sanchez, Tanganga, Rodon, Sessegnon, Lo Chelso and Ndombele at least. Dier will be staying, so probably will be Davies. Some reports Reguilon will be leaving but not clear. Also Hojbjerg might be sold.

+x🙆♂️ #KYOGO2027 🙆♂️ We are delighted to announce that our Treble-Winning talisman Kyogo has signed a new four-year deal with the Club! 💚🇯🇵 #CelticFC🍀 Perfect deal for both parties. Kyogo can obtain Nakamura-like status at Parkhead and Celtic get to keep their talisman after losing Jota to SA. From a move to Spurs PoV, I think Ange has his eyes on other players than any from the SPFL (with the exception of maybe Hatate.)

Some quality deals to bring in a lot of freshness and hunger. Those who run Spurs need to take it easy and a top 8 finish this season is perfectly fine if you ask me. Wait until the 2nd or 3rd season to see the lift I reckon.

He'll have 2 max putting my neck out now, Top 8 ? that is not acceptable no way and 8th is NO Europe games at all just as this past season and having Villa and Brighton finish above them and just 1point over Brentford. That is not Spurs and worse the Gooners have smacked them. Toons grabbed LFC's and Spurs 4th place, thats the target period in Levys mind despite him not saying so/the board and more so the supporters expectations. They have been in Europe games in some shape or form from 2010, you think that is going to sit lightly - think of the drop in $$$'s for starters. Europa would be the consilation and Ange's saving grace at the best I'm sorry to say.

I've always thought that the CL final loss to Liverpool was pretty much their ceiling until they do a reform, which from their lower base in regards to reforms, would be the biggest overhaul seen at an EPL club. I say top 8 because you said it, a new batch of clubs are in town and I see this as one of the most competitive EPL seasons yet. Perhaps we'll see a small point difference between 4th and 8th. Just checking now. 6 point gap from in 15/16 but 20 the season after.

He will get a year to prove himself, but the bare minimum is; - Top 6 (ideally Top 5 with UCL qualification) - Late run in the cups - Clear the deadwood in 2 transfer windows - Fresh injection of players - Attacking football that's attractive on the eye Those are his KPI's, which for such a cut-throat league and a high profile team as Tottenham is a fairly wide berth. Anything less is a failure and he will be gone mid second season.

Brentford, Burnley, Bournmouth,Sheffield, Luton and Fulham in the first 9 rounds... Anything less than top 3-4 by the time they face Man City in December and there will be grumblings a plenty in London....
