+x+x+x+x+x+xEven though I’m no full on spudz supporter I’ve seen enough over the years. Kulusevski is good in the ball, one on ones and likes going forward - he under Ange I expect should improve. Son normally likes a through ball and one in ones but defending work rate has been his weakness - let’s see if Ange can inspire his work. Richarlson has been hit and cold for as long as I’ve watched him. Can be a game changer at rare times but to be a trafional striker ala Kane he just doesn’t meet the crosss enough at all. A loose ball around the box he can cause damage or score a worldly but not consistent. This position will be anges prob unless they buy a scorer. By the way pissa result against United just love it ! Press has been saying they looked better on the pitch than over the season and more United has had Tag Huer haha Ive watched a fair bit of spurs including pre-season not becuz im a spurs supporter but i am a fan becuz Ange he is the most successful Aussie manager.... Kulusevski, Son and Richarlison all look 'shit/average' since Ange took over - now i do think Kulusevski and Son will improve as the way Agne plays is a 180 to what they are used to with Conte and Jose park the bus tactics Richarlison is just 'rubbish' he had 1.5 decent seasons at Everton but overall i dont think he is 'any good' he is just an average player should be sold to a lower mid table club Where Spurs have looked a mile better is in the MF Maddision and Bissouma looks world class under the Ange system they're knocking the ball around like like Madrid but upfront they lack a finisher (obviously losing Kane is going to hurt) The certainly knocked the ball around better then us in the 2nd half (although would of been a different game if we got what id consider 2 clear Pens) I think Ange is doing 'bits' at Totenham but the club needs to back him he needs another CB and a ST b4 the window closes imho I'm not convinced Kulusevski is the right fit to play on the wing in Ange's system. I think Solomon is more suited to the role. I also think the biggest concern is Richarlison. I don't think he has the technical ability to play in tight spaces in Ange's system and I'm surprised Tottenham haven't put a bid in for a player like Kyogo. You 'might' be right - Kulusevski might not suit the system but there is a 'good player' there but good players dont always work in certain system. Bissouma was terrible for Conte but under Ange he is flying. Richarlison is terrible honestly speaking he just isnt at the level require to play for a top club - i did think he was 'alright' at Everton but never outstanding - i think under the increased pressure of a big club he just isnt at the level. Im shocked Spurs didnt ask for a player from BM when they sold Kane someone like Gabriel Vidović, or even Kingsley Coman plus 50m would of been a better deal for them..... the issue Spurs have now is everyone knows they got 'Kane' money so if they go into buy a CF/ST they are paying though the nose i personally feel like the board have left Ange to dry, he clearly isnt getting backed if they managed to finish 9th or higher with the current squad he has done a good job. With the window close to closing i dont think he has enough in that squad to do much this season From interviews it looks like the mani focus now is to sell the excess players they Do have..... A striker and CB, I agree, are main targets but have to be quality to make an impact and at the moment there isnt much quality left on the market. Richarlison is terrible might as well sus some of the lesser known leagues like Japan, Mexico, Chile etc and gamble on someone who is young the play that useless bloke Can't be too bad - he's scored 20 goals for Brazil. I didn't follow Spurs prior to Ange arriving, but I'm assuming he was stuck on the bench behind Kane, only getting minimal mins to score goals. As it's been said earlier, it looks like his confidence is low, so if Ange can show faith in him, he might be able to turn it around. Son didn't have a particularly good game either. When it all comes together with Maddison running the show now, Spurs front 3 could explode

+xAnyone reckon ange has had to adapt his personal style? He seems to have tried more with media and come across as nice humble guy (not passing judgement on his character at all). I just know from players in the past and said that the whole entire time they played under him they never had a single conversation with him.
Watched them last night. Really good to watch as a neutral, I really hope they keep it up.
Super exciting year for aus on international stage tbh.
Men’s and women’s did well, and now ange flying the flag. Think he's just being careful. Like when the new guy joins your company, nice and polite, yes sir no sir, then after about a couple of months turns out he's a seriously loose unit

Cant believe the Spurs fans have jumped on board so quickly. Watched the game on the weekend, some of it was very pretty football....

Robbie Williams just sang the Big Ange 'Angles' cover on his Instagram. Thought Robbie was from Stoke, but hey Ange (and Spurs) have a new Celebrity fan to boast about. The 'Cult of Ange' is pretty insane. To be honest, I think a lot of us still see him through the lense of his time with the National Team and don't realise that was almost 10 years ago and he has developed an incredible amount since that time. Ange is different gravy, in my opinion.

Wut? Kane is close to Shearer's EPL record, the club's greatest goalscorer, and England's greatest goalscorer.....individually he deserves every plaudit he gets. Not just a "good player". Also from what I saw, the response to the West Ham game was the defence was still leaky but the early signs of "Ange-Ball' was giving Spurs fans a hard-on.

Dav some of your comments are a bit out of range but I suppose its your pov. Kane has 58 from 84 NT games, if you think thats MIA alot I suppose depends on the games circumstances when he was MIA. For Spudz and being a UK overated player as you say imo he's delivered above many unlike, rashford, he's one gone MIA countless times compared to Kane comparing apples with apples. 213 goals from 317 spudz games lol, if he's gone MIA like any player you lose form now and then - what top striker or player doesn't go through a bad spell...... No ambition is also a strange one to say. 2 games for Bayern for 3 goals. Ange was always gonna be under the microscope as any newbie in the epl would be and inheriting a underperforming club - he's been fortunate the way things have gone to date. Its only 3 games in but knocking off your lot was completely against all odds and a credit to his work behind the scenes. Burnley will be a tuffer nut to crack away compared to united just saying.

Unfortunate to go out against Fulham on penalties. I would've liked a few more league cup games to keep the reserves happy with games and maybe a lower tier away next round.

Ange fucked up royally here, in my opinion. Has just endeared himself to the fanbase. A team starved of trophies and goes and makes 9 changes against Fulham at the cottage. They were awful too. BIG setback for sure! The fans are furious at him, even the more level headed ones.

cup games are typically double edge swords for most of the larger known clubs and playing a opposing epl club. Spurs with no europe games I suppose its all to play for to many supporters But Ange would have been keeping in mind Burnley in just 3days time having subbed 5 of his key players by the look of it..... They had 60% possesion and 6 corners so enough chances to avoid pens But at least Richarlson got on the score sheet :)

Spurs have the DNA of being a 'Cup Team' and I think this was an opportunity for Ange to bring a bit of that DNA back to the club. The fans have been crying out for this. Ange put a team out that said to the fans "we're not going to give it a go".

bit of a setback but never seen a goalkeeper so disinterested in trying to win a penalty shootout. Forster was awful. Fulham did draw Arsenal remember.

He needs to finish better than last season in the league so that's where the priority is. He knows that his squad has no depth.
Heck even his starting eleven has a weak front 3 needs another CB and full back. That's half the starting team that needs improving. An injury to anyone of his 3 midfielders in a cup game and the season would go pear shaped for him pretty quickly.
If the reserve keeper doesn't play the cup games, when does he play?
Finally WTF is a Carabao anyway?

That caller is right about one thing- you don't win anything with just eleven players, you need a squad, and Tottenham don't have that, they don't even have eleven.

He has a very limited squad, and it doesn’t seem that he has had the opportunity yet to be able to spend much more than bare minimum. I think they will go harder in the mid-season transfer market but there’s a lot of challenges to overcome until that happens.
As for this game, they went out on pens to a fellow EPL side. It’s not a disaster, but yes just brings out the fears of some fans that seem content to thrive on the negative or small picture view. Ange has to prioritise the league and FA cup this year, and trying to do everything all at once is not wise.

For Tottenham, it's traditionally been the Cups. They've only become a top 4 side ever since Harry took them there. Treating the Carabao Cup as a hit-out for your second-string XI is like a red-rag to a bull. Ange seriously is playing with fire here. The fans will turn on him as quickly as they've backed him if he tries that shit again. Mark. My. Words.

Remember he's built his career doing things his way rather than capitulating to fan and media pressure.
The Crapao cup is meaningless and worthless. from Ange'a perspective he needs to build a squad for the future to compete in the EPL and ECL. That means trialling different players to see who is up to standard and who isn't, especially while the transfer window is still open. He can't afford to do that during EPL games, so if not the Crapao cup when? I don't think Ange put out a "second string" team, he hasn't even worked out his best starting xi.
As Ange said, get used to turbulence. The whole Ange idolatry is ridiculous anyway, he's won two games ffs.

I finally got able to listen to this…… and didn’t some of us say good luck whilst under Levy’s reign. Even worse is the old foggie owner is a 6time billionaire. I can talk some may say but LFC has its own similar probs due to their yanky loaded owners we’ve just been fortunate they shelled out on good buys here and there and Klopp. As the bloke mentioned winning gaffas they have had but the squad is thinner than LFC’s for eg so it is good luck to Ange there is a long way to go but as I mentioned some pages back let’s see where they are on the ladder come Dec, that will be when the line is drawn or not.

Burnley will be a tuffer nut to crack away compared to united just saying. i agree he is a better then Rashford who is all 'good' but imho another 'over-rated' English player The English/UK media was comparing Rashford to Mbappe just a few years ago - im a UTD fan he isnt even close to that level but the fact this shit happens kind of shows how dumb some of the pudits are.... if we use Lfc as an example i got pudits saying Nunez can take Salahs place if he leaves after ONE good game lmao
these Kangaroos can play football - Ange P. (Intercontinental WC Play-offs 2017)
