+xLFC appealing to the FA to have the game replayed behind closed doors....LOL They're not and no manager in their right mind is going to demand that. We had bad refereeing decisions since the game was invented. The only thing that changed is that VAR was supposed to make them perfect. Only time I recall a replay was in the FA cup and it wasn't because Sheffield demanded one like a sore loser, it was Arsene that offered it. And it wasn't because of a ref but because of a fair play breach that saw Aresenal putting the ball in an empty net from a throw in.

I don't think they'll replay either despite it been clearly onside. Imagine the precedence.

Absolute bonkers situation that. English football again deciding that they're better than everyone. They could take pointers from Rugby on this, and don't. They could take pointers from PRO Referees (USA's equivalent of PGMOL) - just a simple use of saying "I have a good goal" whenever checking a goal, and this isn't an issue.

I feel so sorry for the VAR here. The issue is simply that he knows what the answer is, but he can't remember what the question was. You're right. The VAR should be called upon to say unambiguously "this is a goal" or "this is not a goal". Not "I agree/disagree with you (onfield officials)" It's purely a stroke of luck that this only happened to Liverpool, so luckily the consequences were limited.

Curtis Jones will serve his three-match ban for the red card he received during the 2-1 defeat at TottenhamTottenham following an unsuccessful appeal from Liverpool.
Suck it up Liverpool. How many send offs is that this season so far? More discipline and less sooking please.

They're still at it....... In case the file can't be opened, the article is about Klopp demanding a replay (www.football.london)

This Spurs kit is awful. Grey has to be the worst colour for kits ever.

A red for Spurs ans 0:0 at ht in Luton. My Spurs career mode also saw the first loss at Luton. Typical. Let's see if Spurs can at least avoid defeat.

Top weekend of results for Spurs. I'll have to check their fixtures coming up as it's surely got some big names.

+xTop weekend of results for Spurs. I'll have to check their fixtures coming up as it's surely got some big names. Fulham, Palace, Chelsea, Wolves.... no real challenge until Villa, City and then Newcastle in December... Arsenal has a bit of a mixed bag in the same time frame though they did just knock off Man City so got rid of one bogey round... The fact that both big London clubs are undefeated in 8 rounds is pretty special... Lets see who blinks first.

MSC if you think no real challenge till Villa game you could have fooled me. The 4 mentioned coming up are no push overs to me, Palace defense is soild to date, Poch is on the up and Wolves gave Villa a game for a draw. IMO every single game is nearly like a final in the EPL its that strong a comp. Both are going to blink soon or later its a given :).

Sorry, shouldn't have termed it like that, of course mate every club is a challenge.... Yes Palace haven't "leaked goals" but they are flat across the front third and slow in transition... Wolves tun hot and cold depending on the time of day/weather/moon .. whatever .. As for Poch .... well well see where they are at after the international break against Arsenal :P. hahahahah How terrible was last night's second half in the Brighton game.... As much as I really like De Zerbi, that was a pretty poor performance from Liverpool, Nunez wasn't even on the pitch, was he? As for Diaz... Jesus man, hit the target at least.

He has been lucky, but he is always lucky through the style he plays.
He's done awesome and history tells us that his teams usually only get better. Fantastic

He has been a lil lucky to start but keen to see what happens without Bissouma. He carries the ball up field alot and gets the attack going.
But jesus im thinking of throwing $20 on Spurs to win the league as city and arsenal might do themselves in with UCL commitments.
Nunes was definitely on for the game last night and he was basically useless.

That day for Wolves may come vsing Spudz never never know till on the day they did beat City week before and drew last night against a good Villa side. 1-4 Chelsea away was a sign, they won't beat Arse but they will improve. Spudz even though down to 10 weren't that great, struggled to score and Son was no where all game. Richarlson again showed what a dog of a player he is overall. A win is a win good 3points for em. The Seagulls have been one of recent bogey games nowadays, christ they are good to watch but lacked the conviction up front this game with all their counters and corners. and they leak goals, sound familiar haha LFC they were slow as all game - it was walking football at times playing from the back and passing across the backline, it was just woeful. McAllister is slow as and he's no DM been caught out a few times when under the press but where was the urgency might I add, you don't wait for the ball coming to you at that level. Forget Diaz Gravenberch had a sitter in front after beautiful play down the right flank with pace and Szobos perfect cross. By the way that pulling from the collar by Gross should have been a red despite getting the pen. We'll take the point away against a very well structured squad. Thats what you get with Nunez, hot one day where the next, if he doesn't kick on this season won't be surprised we move him on. DeZerbi might end up being at LFC when the Klopp moves on.

Spurs top of the league, and hes only been in charge for only a few months too.
What an remarkable turnaround Ange has done to this team and they probably are the best football to team to watch as well.
In terms of the Luton game they should have put them to bed in the first half but they showed a different side to Ange Ball by playing with 10 players to win which is a good sign going forward, Ange has made them mentally more tougher which maybe they would have dropped points or lost in the past.

Watched Arsenal vs City this morning and it put me to sleep, both play a very similar chess like football that's how dull it was.
