Potential banana skin vs Fulham to round up the match week. Knowing all other results before will be interesting.

Only 9 games played? It feels like a lot more with the intensity across the league. Spurs latch on to two poor play out passes by Fulham to score both goals.
Under previous managers they would've let the ball run back to the defence but here they go forward immediately making the opponent pay dearly in the small window of opportunity.
I think I heard Ange has broken another record by being the best ever starting manager? Previously held by Hiddink at Chelsea and some Norwich manager of yesterday. Something like that anyway. Only 9 games but it already feels so automatic that Spurs just do so well.
Absolutely ages to go and this can slow down like Preston in the Championship. Parallels between those two clubs really.

cant see Ange losing for some time, they can seem to break down the smaller teams who are organised and anyone who goes at them creates space for them.
Keen to see what Poch does against him.

The most points collected in the first 9 games. As for the Manager of the month double - The last manager to achieve the double was Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp in 2019-20. According to Opta Stats, only eight sides in Premier League history have started a campaign with more than 23 points from their first nine games, with four of them going on to win the title, three ending second and one ending third. May the honeymoon continue for them, pretty good draw having Arse/LFC/MU 3 of 9 and next 3 games are (A) Palace struggling to score, a win I expect. (H) Chelsea struggling as well, win again. (A) Wolves are a jeckle and hyde - either ither for me. (H) Villa, as long as they keep to form will be The challenge of the 4 games.

A 2:1 at Palace. A fairly controlled win by Spurs but for added time where Palace scored and then went hard. Shaky end but 3 points in the bag.

A win is 3points all that matters. They couldn’t break Palace down whole 1st half don’t think a shot on goal. Gift OG but a well played goal after taken by Son.

Top 4 should be the minimum target from here. 72 is points is usually enough for 4th spot, which means 46 points from 28 games. Already a 9 point gap on 6th place.

Don't think Spurs are playing that well actually. There's a lack of fluidity in their play. But they're getting the points and will only get better.

+xDon't think Spurs are playing that well actually. There's a lack of fluidity in their play. But they're getting the points and will only get better. Yeah I second that .... Love Kulusevski on the right but it seems like he isnt backed up enough by Maddison or even Son dropping deep. The both tend to fade left leaving him with a task to find them in space.... Udogie coming back will let Bissouna swing a little more central so hopefully the "gap" isnt as visible... Gotta say Van der Ven and Vicario have to be the defensive signing of the season.... Spurs not being "Spursie" is a surprise. The unbeaten run will end, sooner rather than later but at least now Im not really concerned about it being a massacre..... Keep going Angie.

Yes those 3 Udogie, Vicario and van de Ven are so good, and young with so much upside I could see them at a club like Real Madrid or PSG, money talks and all that.

+xTake that Sanchez that's for taking Ryan's spot Sanchez gets caught out every week not showing off the apparent attributes of height and distribution that had him succeed Ryan. Also the emotional intelligence expert Graham Potter really showed it off with that Chelsea squad, didn't he?

Insanely eventful first half. Early Spurs goal. Udogie fortunate with just a yellow. Chelsea have two goals disallowed. Spurs have one taken back. Romero red and penalty. Van De Veen pulls hamstring and it looks very grim. Maddison off with a knock.
Massive massive test for Spurs as Chelsea have stabilised well. Just lots of the old hack jobs out there now which will evoke nightmares for Spurs fans.

Commentary moaning about VAR coming in for checks. You idiots created it! You would pick up little things that refs missed and use it to fuel stories and panel discussions.
I can't remember having red cards for bad tackles with a mix of ball and man 10 years ago. It was mostly put down to speed and momentum and clashes and part of the game. Players and refs just got on with it and were too busy trying to play to notice fingertip handballs or an accidental tread on someone's foot.
Commentary and coaches started picking these things out. Producers kept replaying and replaying it. Journalists wrote obsessively. Like they care. They've got endless content to churn with an extra conditional of 'with or without VAR' now.
