+xThis has received more news coverage than the 1000 Palestinian protestors who chanted "Gas the J**s" & "F*** the J**s" at the opera house last year. I wonder why that is.... 2 things here 1. the protestors at the opera house actually never said it analysis appears to have revealed, 2. and that is simply untrue. that was national news as for your first point, should only the gaza conflict/massacre/genocide only be reported in the news and nothing else?

The audio doing the rounds at the time was clear and racist. Anyways, it’s a media overkill for 3 men with alleged salute spanning two years. Yeah the conflict in gaza should be the main priority in the news, and the media should mention how Israel has become something they once hated.

Even many Israeli citizens are furiously protesting against the actions that prick is taking

probably because 6 people were murdered in a shopping centre so news has some priorities would almost guarantee if that didn't happen this would be in the NSW media, having said that the united was more newsworthy because of the visual/scenario aspect (booing, multiple nazi salutes, pyro etc - common sense really) also, doesn't appear to be multiple? or am I missing it? i only see one idiot

only 2 year ban for this WSW fan, while fans from sydney united got life. Football Australia has handed lifetime bans to two spectators from the Australia Cup final lifetime bans to two spectators from the Australia Cup final. It told 7.30 it is continuing to investigate other supporters and the club and is providing evidence to New South Wales police.
how does the sentencing work, by the club you support? lol

+x+x+xHappy 71st Birthday to Melbourne Knights Yesterday 10.04.1953  Melbourne Croatia *SC Croatia* died in 1972. The franchise of Melbourne Croatia to enter the state leagues under the Ukrainian Essendon Lions started in 1972. Ar there more details around this? Essendon Lions was formed as the Lions Soccer Club in 1953 by migrants from Ukraine in Australia. On 30 July 1972 SC Croatia played Hakoah at Olympic Park in Round 19 of the VPL. The match was abandoned after the 62-minute mark after SC Croatia supporters invaded the pitch, attacking the match officials following the sending off of SC Croatia player Hugh Gunn. At the VSF Tribunal SC Croatia was found guilty of having failed to control its spectators, the club had its membership with the VSF revoked which saw it disqualified from all competitions for life. In 1974 club members chose to go down a different path to bring the club back, they set their sights on a take-over of the financially struggling Division 1 club Essendon Lions (a Ukrainian backed club). The first step occurred with the appointment of the influential SC Croatia figure Tony Vrzina as coach of the Essendon Lions late in the 1974 season. With the completion of the season a total take-over of the club took place, with Croatia paying $25,000 to the Lions to take control of the club and the facilities at Montgomery Park in Essendon. By the beginning of the 1975 season Tony Vrzina had become president of the club and Duje Zemunik was appointed coach. The club would become known as Essendon Croatia, though they would continue to play under the Lions name until 1978 when the name was officially changed to Essendon Croatia. In 1982 the club changed its name to Melbourne Croatia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essendon_Lions_SChttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Melbourne_Knights_FC

It was actually one of the first dedicated 'Ukrainian' community clubs outside of Galicia (Western Ukraine) in the whole world.
