Personally, I sit about 10 rows from the pitch by preference at the Roar and the proximity is a real part of the experience for me. If you can't hear leather on shin you are too far away.

I would not want fans sitting as far away as ovals normally dictate so I would disqualify RNA on those grounds.

BUT if the option was an oval with 10k seating or an empty Suncorp I would find the oval better for the club. It still needs to be a 'football first' field though. Tired of getting shafted by other sports/events and fields wrecked for months.
