One fight in two years is not the best warm-up  And five of his last six fights have gone the full distance.

TBF, Condit has fought once in the last 18 months anyway.

And that last stat isn't a slight on GSP, it's a positive. He doesn't knock you out, or submit you. He grinds you into the dirt and breaks everything in your body.

So what you've shown there is that in all of those fights, the judges have scored him to have unanimously won the fight, and in all bar his last one, he's won so completely that they've all judged him to have won every single round of the fight. Some by an even greater than the standard margin.

How exactly does that disprove my point?

You don't know how UFC Judges scoring works do you?.

Each round is scored based on multiple aspects, striking, take downs etc. The fighters are scored out of 10. The fighter deemed to have won the Round, instantly gets 10. The fighter who loses the round gets anywhere from 9 downwards. Standard practice is just to give them a 9, but if a fighter gets dominated in a round, they'll usually get an 8. So take the UFC 124 for example. All 3 scores are 50-45. Which means all 3 judges scored each round 10-9 in GSP's favour. He won each round. So with that in consideration look at UFC 87. Not only did he win every single round, he won so convincingly that there are a couple of 10-8 scores in there.

Those aren't close scorelines, those are dominations.

Indeed. Worth noting that line up is missing UFC 94, Where he beat BJ Penn so damn hard that they had to stop the fight after the 4th round.

Nice one, congrats :)
I did Russian a couple of years ago too, was one of my best subjects and I've stuck with it at uni. My exam (2010) was pretty decent for it but they did try to throw us with a short answer on Kornilov's contribution to the October Revolution.

Yeah really enjoyed it. Would have loved a Kornilov question, did heaps of practice ones on him and the October Revolution.

The 20 marker (25%) was really easy on the Russian side- The revolutionaries promised power to the workers, but only succeeded in bringing terror to the people. So many angles I could have gone for, was nice to get a decent exam for once.

WFMB: All this time I have ;)

Did that when I was in New Zealand. Saw Weathertop (I think that's it's name, where Frodo gets stabbed by the Riders) and white water rafted past where Arwen is chased by the Riders over the river on her way to Rivendell. Also stopped off at Hobbtion and did the tour. So very awesome.

Have you read the book? There's literally nothing else they could've cut out without fucking up the story completely.

Also, you haven't lived until you've watched the ultimate extended editions. The final film goes for four and a half hours and is bloody fantastic.

It's pretty cool being able to watch it and say "Oh I've been there", "I've walked along that bit".

That's insane!! One of my friends watched them back to back when she was off sick from school one day, but I couldn't imagine watching them that many times so close together.

Though there was nothing in them that could've been cut out. The books were extremely detailed.
