haha. Shrewd signings in Indonesia? Lol. These guys are worse than Conference North/South players. Sometimes you don't even get a full squad.
My tactics are all out attack 4-4-2 (with farrows on the wingers to FL/R) and tactics: Players set to the default for that position. All Out Attack Little Creative Freedom Long Passing Very Slow Tempo Narrow Width Always Closing Down Often Time Wasting Deep Defensive Line Hard Tackling
The main reason I don't go too well in this early nowhere leagues are because hardly any teams have enough money to afford a full coaching staff and scouting. Scouting is a huge part of my approach to the game.
That said, my current team are pretty good on that front, I've got 2 scouts, 2 Physios, 7 Coaches and an Assistant, and am currently scouting out for the hot new indonesian talent and singing them.

Look around in the arab states though, there's a bargain or two to be had there. Long passing won't work wiht shitty passing stats, i'd be playing short and quick, but that's just me. That's very boring football you're playing. Unless you plan to get noticed with the team you're at by working your way to the ACL, I suggest you play some good football and hope someone else comes calling.

Okay slooooow down.
First of all. I saw Joao Victor but I'm trying for Lulinha first.
I've buttered up Lulinha and I also said that his manager was great. Gosh, I am a suck up!
Ipswich Town is a mid-table Championship side.
Go macktheknife! You show those Indonesians!

Season v.2 not going so well for Persidikab Kediri.
Basically every pre-game news message is a variation of: "Persedikab face the Impossible."
Or some such. P13, W2, D3, L8, 9 Points. Last (14th). About half-way through the season.
12th is 13 points, 13th is on 12 points.
I drew our derby against Persik Kediri \:d/
But hey, a few wins and we will be right back in the hunt.

Dont just look over joao victor, get him, hes class, as good as lulinha and you dont have to wait.
Also Joe ledley whose very versatile, plays for wales, is valued at 650k at the beginning but after a few years of playing him off the bench hes gone up to $8mil by 25 years of age.
Also get sergio from atletico mineiro (sp?) , hes young talented $300k and by 19 hes worth $5mil and my staff rate him higher than a 31 year old jean alain boumsong.

and how do you be a national manager as well as a club?? That's crazy paying taht for Tevez, you could have had two quality strikers to do his job for that price. As for the international job, wait for one to come up in "Jobs" > "job security" and apply for it by clicking on the nation and applying in the bottom left corner. Quote:I've buttered up Lulinha and I also said that his manager was great. Gosh, I am a suck up! There's no point sucking up to the manager if he's accepted your bid but Lulinha rejected the contract, focus on Lulinha and try another bid. Quote:But hey, a few wins and we will be right back in the hunt. Far easier said than done, it's not like the A-League. You'll be lucky to get four or five wins all season. Quote:Dont just look over joao victor, get him, hes class, as good as lulinha and you dont have to wait. Get both if you can, plan for the future if you want promotion. Quote:Also Joe ledley whose very versatile, plays for wales, is valued at 650k at the beginning but after a few years of playing him off the bench hes gone up to $8mil by 25 years of age. Don't judge by value, that's merely an indication of relative form in your game. eg. In my game, Fabregas was worth 32mil, in a mates game he was worth 10mil.

So hes as good as fabregas on a bad day, that my point.
Just signed leonardo BTW, hes got 20 for dribbling, better than ronaldo and about 18 for crossing.
How do i get an overall stat thing for players attributes?

Quote:So hes as good as fabregas on a bad day, that my point. nnnno, not really. because the value is an indication of perfomance in proportion to their ability. So Leroy Lita, for example who's largely shit, can be worht (in mine) 10mil, but in yours he could be worth 3mil. Value means next to nothing. Quote:How do i get an overall stat thing for players attributes? There isn't one. You can rely on player values to do most of the indication. Or you can look at the pin-wheel in a players profile click "View" in the top right hand corner and select the other option.

I've got my scouting network up have 3 of them with ability/potential scouting skill 9/19, 18/18 and 12/18 (and we can now scout South East Asia, which is about a dozen countries), I released 13 players from the squad who had not figured in the first half of the season once the transfer window was up, and used my network to bring in 6 hotshots to improve the squad, 3 in defence, and 2 in right midfield, at a cost of about 10k.
My assistant is now giving all positions 4 stars, except 2 of the DC's as 3 star (I'm playing 5-3-1-1) when before we had a heap of 2's and 3's.
On the financial side, we broke 600k Balance and the board are upgrading the training facilities \:d/
Let's hope we can turn this failboat around =d>
edit - ffs drew 3-3 in the first game, leading 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2.. their 2nd was a 35 yard wonderstrike and should have been called for offside with one of their players interfering with play (and the FA remained "silent" when I told them it was a shocking decision) :x I'm now 5 points from 13th.

How on allah's green earth is that offside :x And the "controversy" after the game was my striker's red card which looked horrible even in 2d mode. Table looks now like: 11th - Persibom 20p -10 GD 12th - Persid 19p -20 GD 13th - Persipur 18p -8 GD 14th - Persedikab 17p -8 GD With those 2 points (and goal), I'd be in 12th. However, with 5 games left we still have it all in our hands, as the 5 games are: Persid Persipur Persekabpas (3rd) sigh Persik (4th) sigh Persibom So basically 3 of the games are massive relegation 6 pointers. Indonesian league soooooooo tight :*)

YAS \o/ \:d/ =d> [-o<
We stayed up :d
Of the last 5 games, we
Smashed Persid 3-1.
Lost 1-3 to Persipur
Won 2-1 against Persekabpas (who will finish 5th), after going a man down 12 minutes in, we stormed back and won with an injury time winner, Cameroonian Bab Pierre taking a poor clearance and lashing it into goal from just outside the area.
Lost 0-3 against Derby Rivals Persik.
This left it all down to the final match vs Persibom. Whoever lost would almost surely get relegated, a draw would be bad for both teams (it would have meant certain relegation for me, and relegation on Goal Difference for Persibom).
Bab Pierre comes back again and scores just after half-time, and then 15 minutes later to give us a 2-0 win. \o/
Final Table is: Persedikab - 6W, 8D, 12L, 26 Points. Persid - 6W, 8D, 12L, 26 Points. Persipur - 6W, 7D, 13L, 25 Points. Persibom - 6W, 6D, 14L, 24 Points.

Its hilarious how youve managed to grasp the indo-league so quickly to the point you celebrate rivalry wins and get down on the losses. I wouldnt be suprised if you wrote all these posts from memory, lol, you now know the indonesian league of by heart. Figured out what persi means yet?

I lost 3-0 to Hannover in the last game of the season costing me a UCL spot which I was a bit pissed off about. Signed up Andreas Ottl from Dortmund and Andrea Gorlitz from Bayern Munich on a free. Bought another gun Vietnamese striker and beat off offers from AC Milan and St Etienne to sign a hot prospect from Croatia. Currently in talks with an Argie winger as Mitea 'didn't like working with me' and fucked off to Nurnberg on a free. Signed a few other youngsters for the coming years and finally Stojkovic (Goalie) from Sporting Lisbon on a free.
Good times. Hopefully I can make a push for the title this season.

I resigned from my nigeria post because its shit. i dont really wanna win the world cup or ANC so i quit, focus on sheffield then hope i get accepted for a job with a CL team.
Eden Hazard is going well, alfaro is scoring goals and recently played for spain in EURO 2012. I bought guy monnier, what do you guys think of him? I needed a left back and armand traore and insua wouldnt come so i got him.
Heres my team, bit injury depleted though.

Sell players you don't use, or don't see a potential use for. ps lol saha.
My indo game going quite well, first 8 games and we are 4th, 4 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses (one of which came when we went down a man due to injury after using the subs). \:d/
I released 6 players, and brought in another 9, mostly young, but a few non-indos.
Anyways, since this game started in 2006, here is some happenings from the early seasons: 06/07 - MU win the title, Everton finished 4th, Arsenal 5th. Liverpool win the CL 6-5 on Penalties after a 1-1 (Bellamy 87, Rooney 90) draw in extra time vs MU. Tottenham win FA Cup over Villa. Borough win Carling Cup over Liverpool.
07/08 - MU win the title again, big 4 restored, Newcastle, Leeds, Southampton relegated, Milan beat Real Madrid in the CL Final, Liverpool win FA Cup over Chelsea, Liverpool win Carling Cup over Chelsea (both 2-1 as well)
08/09 - With 10 games left, it's Arsenal, West Ham on 55, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham. United are 8th, with Reading, Sunderland and Bolton looking for the drop. Arsenal won the Carling Cup 3-2 in Extra Time vs Newcastle.
Player Moves: United - Miroslav Klose for 25m, Kuszczak from West Brom for 2m (in 07/08 so I don't know if this was pre-programmed into the game), and then Andres Guardardo for 15m. Out went Park and Pique (Sevillia and Valencia) and Alan Smith (Portsmouth) The let go basically the entire reserves and youth team in Season 2 and 3 (including Ben Foster on a free).
Liverpool - Voronin from Leverkusen, Woodgate on a free, someone called Miguel from Valencia, Masch and Martinez in S3. Out Sissoko to Milan for 16m, Aurelio and Arbeloa, Riise for 16m and their revsers/18's as well.
Arse - Baines, Gianpolo for combined 29m, Ribery for 10m, Baptista 13m. Out Clichy, Baptista a year later for 10m, Reyes for 13m, Walcott to Villa for 12.5, Senderos for 3m.
Chelski - Bodmer, Palacio, Cordoba, Lucho Gonzalez, Mauro Zarate (Season 1) - 50m, not much of note for s2, Alves and Chimbonda Season 3 (36m), Out - Bridge, Khalid, Hilarious, Bodmer 2 years later for 6m profit, Kalou

Your squad should fit onto the screen without scrolling hopefully. If it doesn't, you're probably pushing it a little. as long as you rotate players every now and again and give different players a run, it shouldn't be an issue for you.

The page doesnt scroll and i only have 6 players with key player status and anotehr 6 with first team status. Its just a matter of keeping everyone playing but i still get those chronic whingers who dont show up to training and demand a spot in the first team, hows that work?

They're just temperamental by nature probably. Discipline them when they miss training. select the player's profile > "discipline player" and I think you only get the options that apply if they deserve it now (eg "fine a weeks wages" will get the job done for players skipping training), you used to be able to do any player any time. Don't worry about the whingers, move them on or keep them there as emergencies, it doesn't matter. Most players want to be playing week in and week out unless they're getting old, so my advice would be to just ignore it.
