Though I read an article (either SMH or PC Authority, cant remember) that said that not only are gaming consoles more powerful than the latest PC technology, but the consoles' power is advancing quicker than PCs. Off the top of my head PCs' [computing] power is growing at something like 2x every three years where as consoles are 2.5X every 2 years.... something like that... meaning that some scientific researchers are actually using [modified] gaming consoles in their work as a quick alternative to their PCs.

There's less data with which to build any meaningful statistics on the growth of the power of consoles though compared to what you get from computers which are chopped and changed every few months.

its march 2009 and i have been in charge of chelsea for a year. i am currently lying in first by 12 points. i bought higuain and luis fabiano in january. i have huntaarlar coming in in the off season as well as pirlo. i got pirlo for 9 mil. at steal i reckon.
i got through the group stages of the champions league on goal difference and then versed barcelona. i beat them 2-1 on aggregate. i am now versing ac milan who knocked me out last year in the semi-final.
i was knocked out of the fa cup and league cup by teams i should have beaten. pourtsmouth and fulham. in both i lost to a late goal.

What is Palacio doing in reserves? He is far better than both Vela and Bendtner together.

Walcott is shite. Sell him while hes still got some value. Keep Diarra he gets capped by france a hundred times and is one of the best in the world. Diaby is good if you play him. Rodrigo Palacio from Boca? Is that him? I dont know much about him in the game but if hes anything like real life...

my hull team slipped out of first place to finish second, but promotion was what i was after. but in div 1 we've lost our first 3 games in a row. i brought in (regenerated) van basten in the off season, but he's really not having much of an impact so far.

im probably going to have to do that. my team is always getting around 20 shots or so a game, but they just cant finish...

i have retained the title with chelsea with 2 or 3 games in hand.
i am in the final of the champions league after beating a.c milna in the quaters and juventus in the semis. i had prevously not beating these two teams out of two attempts. last years semis against a.c and this years group stages against juve. i am in the final against liverpool who have ottmar hitzfield and are looking like a hard oppoentent. but i have beating them 2 times this year.

That's a pretty nice looking squad if you get rid of Senderos :P
Also, Sign Behrami and Guardado while you can, their stocks go up quick and they're both awesome in 08.
as for putting up images. What you do is print screen it, put it in paint, save it and then post it on imageshack...

Vela is awesome in FM, don't underestimate him...Palacio should be getting first team football though.

That fucking european players policy thing is gay. I didnt even know i had to do it so i barely made it. I had to bring up some ressies who were valued at like 100k each and never gonna step on the park.

tbh i didn't realise i had the option switched on until the negotiations period, i'd prefer to have it turned off, but i've already played through a whole season so i'm not gonna stop now :)

i beat liverpool on penalties. gerrard scored the goal of the tourtament with a lob that was near the half way line. then some one on my team scored shevchenko i think. then it was stoppage time. drogba lined up to take a free kick and he scored. there was only a couple of seconds left and gerrard scored. i dont know how but he did. then extra time came and went and it went onto penalties. cech saved the final two and chelsea didnt miss one. gerrard was one of the people to miss which is kinda funny because he carried liverpool that far.
i am now joint manager of czech republic and chelsea. and i am 2nd ina a easy group for the 2010 world cup. 1 point from poland who is my toughest opponent.
my team is looking promising for the next season with a lot of competiton for al places. and if half of the guys without work permits came i would be in more trouble but there arent. i lost ninis to a.c milan for 6.5 mil because he wasnt happy at chelsea. pirlo and hunteelar came as well as riise. those three are my only buys so far.
hunteelar had an awesome first gam against la galaxy. even though we lost he scored two goals on his debut. looking like a good buy

played a master league season with liverpool. i brought in torres babel and masch before i kicked off the first season. i came 3rd in d2 by 1 pt. ive signed martins, ronaldo 7, ribery. im playing on the regular mode and its pretty hard. the only guy you can tske on people wirh is obafemi so the rest you just gotta play it around.

It's all about having a balanced game and making things work in your academy, not to mention signing english tallent too:P Can't just bring in foreigners ;)

Regen are players that the game makes to makeup for the oldies leaving the game. The guys that come through your youth system are usually regens after the first year.

I've started one with Man City because I was annoyed at having no budget. Early days yet but once I've got some transfers I'll be wining the league.

I can elaborate a little more on that. What a regen is is a player randomly generated by the computer to replace retiring players and staff. There are two kinds "random gen" - which are just that, random generations, and they may be good and they may be shit. OR ones that i can't remember the name of, but they are generated using the statistics of a "Club favourite" or 'legend of the game' as they retire. They can appear at any club though, so ryan Giggs may retire, and be re-incarnated as Tommy Jones, the welsh left winger for Bayer Leverkusen. He has all the right attributes and potential ability to be as good as ryan giggs, but whether he is given the necessary match time and stays free of injury to fulfill that potential is up to you and the random luck of the game (but it may be influenced by hidden attributes like "Big game ability" and "injury prone-ness").

I do play champions league matches but league matches are boring. I beat Olympiakos 4-1. 1st in my UCL group. In it i have olympiakos, galatasaray and fiorentina so i should, maybe, advance.
