Or are there some other rules i havent read about yet?8-[ 8-[ 8-[ They have capped squad sizes and I think they have extended the number of players that have to have played at least three years at the club before they turned 21. The HG thing doesn't worry me its the capped squads that I hate dealing with in FM, its not much of an obstacle its just annoying Squad size in spain is a pain in the arse because it inhibits your youth development somewhat because if you want to develop a south american youngster you have to include them as a 'foreign' player in your squad instead of a U19's player. In england it's no big deal, you just spend more of your budget picking up youngsters early, it takes a bit of time but it's damn rewarding. It's all good. The rules in next year's FM will be the same as what you've got in this years.

For anyone who uses FMFormation website, currently members can download their summer (UK) update. Only available for 24 hours, unless you are a regular uploader.
What to expect: Transfers/loans/contracts updated Promotions and relegations updated Kits updated Transfer market now more competative 11 team Australian A-League Japanese World Cup Squad Wider range of injuries And much much much much much much more!
Just loaded the update for 1st time, few A-League transfers need updating and they've screwed up the salary cap......only 2,350 per week #-o But it is a good platform to start off with and edit yourself if you want the current A-League format.

Just took on the English Job in 2019. John Terry was fired after leading them to 4 losses in their past 5 games. What I didn't realise was all of those matches came in their Euro Qualifying group. So as it stands, I took over before the last round of matches.
Bulgaria - 16 Albania - 13 England - 12 Ukraine - 9
Bulgaria v Albania England v Ukraine
So I need Albania not to win, and us to beat Ukraine. God Damnit John Terry.

Nah, he's twice as good as Mark Viduka was, not to mention he's only 175cm. The strength problem will be fixed with time, only being 16 and all...

* Improved training options (Will be interesting how they implement this) * More complex module for searching new players (Liking the sound of this) * Improved graphics and 3D view of the game (Don't really use it, but cool) * Introduction of football agents to the game (This'll be Interesting, but could make transfers even more annoying.) * Playing games in evenings (so called night effect) * Differentiated weather conditions (Both of these sound good)

Quote:* Introduction of football agents to the game (This'll be Interesting, but could make transfers even more annoying.) I thought that was why we were paying signing fees anyway. I think this is going to create an even bigger problem. I don't know how you can make the search function 'more complex'. I don't want a complex search function. I want it simple.

I think this is going to create an even bigger problem. Hopefully it means the Transfer system is being split up in to 2 processes. You have to agree to a fee with the club, and then work with the agent to get the players contract signed. Similar to what it is now, but you'll be able to have agreed with the player possibly before the fee is agreed, would make things quicker. Could also mean you can make friends with agents, and they might contact you with players they think you might be interested in, etc. That's how I'd do it anyway. Or the agents thing could be as shit and boring as press conferences are now. You do them 3 or 4 times, then get bored and send the assistant because it's the same thing over and over again.

I don't think that the agents are going to make things better, they'll make things more difficult IMO and really fuck about free transfers. Quote:Or the agents thing could be as shit and boring as press conferences are now. You do them 3 or 4 times, then get bored and send the assistant because it's the same thing over and over again. This, especially when I've got The Observer asking a question three times in a row when I refuse to answer it and storm out anyway.

"Simon Hunt advises scouting french 22 year-old Mamadou Sakho as the team is currently lacking quality at center back"
Apparently Gerard Pique, Sergio Ramos, Curtis Davis and Daniel Agger aren't quite up to standard.

I'm 15 games without a win at Ipswich. 7 losses, 8 draws.
Went 6 games without scoring too. Hopeless.

Have you considered buying a striker with some kind of rudiments of talent?

Ah, the joys of Selections that go right. First time picking the English squad was for the Play-off's against Serbia. Took a risk on the right wing and up front with a 29 Year old uncapped winger, and an Italian who'd naturalised at Bolton. Debuted both. Drew 0-0 in the first leg, and then won 3-0 at home in the 2nd leg. Both the Winger and the Striker scoring a goal apiece. It's lovely when things, just, work. :d

I'm trying to find a big-name player to sign on and appease my fans and I'm not having much luck. You should be able to filter by reputation in the search function like you can with staff.

Apparently Gerard Pique, Sergio Ramos, Curtis Davis and Daniel Agger aren't quite up to standard. I find him to be a very handy player tbh, at the moment he is back up to Ferdinand and Vidic for me but Rio is on the long term injury list and Sakho has been superb. He is the sort of player who is content to wait for his chance and then really impresses you when he gets it. Plus he is solid at LB when Evra gets injured too. Does anyone else have certain opposition players that always produce the goods when you play against them? For me its Tevez (City) and Cassano (Chelsea) no matter what instructions I use, or who marks them they always dominate

All of them against me.

That the thing, he won't be playing ahead of Pique and Ramos and when either of them are injured Davis steps straight in and plays very well so he doesn't have a lot of use to me. I guess I could sell Agger, but he's happy playing back-up for me and Sakho wouldn't be. For anyone starting off, or even a couple of years in, Try and nab a keeper called Alphonse Areola, before anyone else does. 2019 and he's only 26. He is an absolute genius between the sticks. Just phenomonal.
Last Season: Apps: 51 Conceded: 31 Clean Sheets: 31 Rating: 7.23
This Season (So Far): Apps: 22 Conceded: 7 Clean Sheets: 15 Rating: 7.24
It took him 2 months to concede this season, including Friendlies.
