Finished the season in 16th. 13 wins, 20 draws, 13 losses.

Had a good run home, 8 wins, 5 draws and 1 loss in the end. Just had an atrocious run of 17 games without a win through November till February.

I think I can go top 10 next season.

Sealed a few free transfers to come in at the end of the season too, which is good.

Just played the first game of the season. 3-2 over Swansea :D :D Stoked.

Made a lot of moves in the off season and I think I can challenge for top 10 this season.

Updated all the A-league transfers but kept 10 teams. Couldn't be arsed making the Heart. So all their players were free agents. Playing with the Nix, snapped up Heffernan to demote Lochhead to squad cover. Then at end of season 1, Culina got released so I bought him. Sold Tim Brown to a low England side with Mark Paston and brought in Clint Bolton. And LA Galaxy signed Smeltz for 4m after he scored 19 in 13!! (I did make him a little better)

Having an absolutely amazing season so far. I know it's early days yet, but I'm stoked with how the lads are playing.

Things are going absolutely amazing.

Before I touch on the league I'll quickly talk about the cups :P

After defeating QPR in the third round of the League Cup, I drew Chelsea, and lost 2-0.
In the FA Cup, drew EPL side Burnley in the Third Round... a great display ensured a 1-0 win. I play Man U in round 4.

Now, to the Championship:

29 games. 26 wins. 3 draws. 0 losses. 61 for. 9 AGAINST

A lot of this is due to my keeper, Henry Hernandez. I spent almost my whole budget (2mil) on him, but he has been absolutely SUPERB.

29 apps, 9 conceeded, 21 clean sheets.

I was predicted to finish 13th too. 22 points clear of second place. Andrea Romano, who I signed on a free, has been great, as well as Bradley Turner, the right mid I signed last season.

I've had multiple bids around the 4mil mark, and even though I signed him for only 800k, I don't want to let him go.

Will Ford, on loan from Man City has been fantastic too. 28 apps, 18 goals, 11 assists.

Anyway, that is just my epic season so far :)

Another succesful season with Napoli. Serie A winners, ECL Semi Finals and Italian Cup Quarter Finals. Won the Serie A by the skin of my teeth, Both me and Inter finished on 92 points. Inter had better GD but we had the better of the Head2Head.

Took England to the Euro 2020 Championship too. Absolutely dominated. Conceded just one goal, a stunning Nasri FK in the Semi Final. Went to Penalties in the Quarter Final v Croatia, but actually won:D. Beat Belgium 2-0 in the Final, both goals were penalties. My strikers finished 1-2 in the Player of the tournament, and I had 6 players in the Dream Team.

EDIT: The latest prodigy I just found. Yes that value is what I payed for him. Newcastle valued him at 7.5m. Plust that was my left over budget from last season, was just going to waste otherwise.

I have won my last 13 games in a row, only just managed to keep the role going against Man City (3rd)though with my substitute Sturridge scoring in the 89th minute to win 1-0
I have played a total of 21 matches including friendlies, cups and Euro and have won 19, drawn one (first league game against Hull) and lost to Leeds 2-1 in a friendly
And i won the Community Shield against Manchester United 0-0 then 5-4 on penalties

Losing that ridiculous Copa Liberatores quarter must've sparked the team hardcore, as they went on a massive unbeaten run which ended at 4am or something so I saved and quit after staying up to keep playing because we weren't losing. We're 22 played, 15 won, 5 drawn, 2 lost, 11 points clear of 2nd. Kinda sucks if we'd managed to win that, we might've been able to take our league form from the unbeaten run into the semi and final.

Including our long unbeaten run at the end of the last season, it was something like 37 games unbeaten in, the first 20 games unbeaten from the league start, about 9 wins in a row. Just seemed invincible, every team talk spurred us to a comeback, every sub made impacts, was brilliant.

Of course, after losing that game and saving and quitting, I loaded it up again and lost the first game after loading as well. Fm so [-(

Also made a completely ridiculous (for brazil) £20 million transfer of a midfielder who'd been sold to CSKA just before I joined. Was looking for a midfielder, was shocked to see this 4 star guy was willing to come (he has Vasco as a favoured club, and Vasco have him as a favoured person as well). The board force accepted the 20 million bid, paid the guy 2.2 million a year, and bam, deal done.

ffs. u20 world cup has just stolen my 1st and 2nd choice DR's, my starting DC, my AMC playmaker, the starting ST, starting AMR, starting AML, backup keeper and most of the kids I've got out on loan. grr.

fuck. The U20 WC completely killed our momentum. We won the first 2 matches without basically the entire team (even with stand in's in certain positions like a slow DMC playing at DC), but got beaten 0-2 in the 3rd game, then stomped 0-4 in the last. The players came back, but their morale was shot, and we lost that match 0-2 as well. We've dropped from something like 13 points clear down to 7 :S

Brazil won, but at what cost to me!

Hah. Got the momentum back with an ultra-defensive possession tactic, started winning games 1-0, ended up winning the title with 2 games to spare.

Just on this, has anyone ever joined a new club, and not had to go through this process? There are good staff out there, but they never seem to be at a club when you join them.

I joined three big clubs, Bayern, AC and Villareal... and not one of them had good staff.

Not one scout that was good. I'm talking 18/18 at least here.

AC had one good coach, a physio with 10... I mean, for a very big club, I would expect much better.

Well my staff changes are done.

Scouts: 12 scouts, all with 20/20 potential/ability scouting.

Physios: 3, all with 20 physiotherapy and high motivation/determination.

Assistant Manager: 19 ability scouting, 18 potential scouting, 19 motivating, 14 tactical knowledge, 17 determination.

Youth Team Manager: 20/20 scouting, 20 youngsters, 11 motivating, 14 determination, 16 discipline, 16 tactical knowledge.

Fitness staff: 2 dedicated coaches, 1 each for Aerobics and Strength, rated 4.5 for my first team. 2 dedicates coaches, 1 each for Aerobics and Strength, rated 4 stars for my youth team.

Goalkeeping Coaches: 2 coaches, one rated 4.5 stars, the other 4, they work with both 1st and Youth team.

First Team Coaches: 5 star tactics coach, 4.5 stars for Set Pieces, 4 stars for Ball control, Defending, Attacking and Shooting.

Youth Team Coaches: A 4.5 star tactics coach, 4 stars for ball control, defending, attacking, 3.5 stars for shooting and 3 stars for set pieces.

Sold my 'star' FC, he wanted a new challenge, went to Real Madrid for 12.5 million. Brought in a Brazilian striker for 10 million.

Recently joined Stuttgart in one of my saves - Had decent coaches (replaced some at season's end IIRC), decent physios (brought in one good one), but ONE SCOUT.

It's not worth buying FM10, wait until FM11 comes out in two months or so.

Lost the League Cup final on pens. Scored a late equaliser to send it to extra time, no-one scored during it, and my first pen was saved (he had 13 penalties).. their last 2, with 9 and 6, both scored. Figures.

Even with Arsenal's DM getting a red in the 34th minute, we still barely made it.

My attempt to play my 2nd choice (who is a good target man) failed dismally, and we were pretty much saved by our keeper. He got a 9.2 and made about a dozen saves, including a penalty save. We had a couple chances but hit the post a few times.

Gonna re-jig to a 4-4-2 whilst Santana is out, play with the target man and poacher.
