Had a horrendous start to the season with Bristol. Out of the first 8 games, we lost 4 and drew 4. Amazed I wasn't fired then and there. I tweaked a few things, and since then we've played 14, won 11, lost 2 and drew 1. Stunning turn around, but it's still only enough to be 7th, albeit 2 points off 3rd. Still 8 points from 1st though, which is where we need to be.
I'm clinging on to my job by the barest of margains, but if we can keep this form up, I should be fine. Although my star striker just broke his arm. He's scored 11 for us, the next best is my CB with 7.

Before I start:
\:d/ \:d/ \:d/ \:d/.
Beat Bordeaux in the Europa league quarter on away goals. 2nd tie in a row I've won on away goals \:d/ So stoked!
Semis: Liverpool v Twente Man City v Marseille.
Totally screwed... already played Pool twice in the group stages and they absolutely destroyed me.
Wrapped up the league title with 5 games to go. Stoked. 26 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses so far. I've had a fair slice of luck in a lot of 1-0s and 2-1s, and Rensing has been fantastic.

You can't buy players that are co-owned aye
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Season is almost over. Only one game left... the Europa Final. That's right, I beat Liverpool in the semi. On away goals once again. :P
Went 1-0 down, pegged it back to 1-1, before an amazing Ngog goal made it 1-2... but in the 91st min Nouioui went through and tucked it in and I held on to win 3-3 on away goals.
Playing Marseille in the final.
Final League Table: Twente 82 Ajax 69 Feyenoord 64 PSV 63 NAC 56
Very happy.
Tried to play Europa final 3 times but it keeps freezing up... once when I was 1-0 up with 5 to go. Will have to wait to tomorrow.

On that day that I holidayed past, he requested to be placed on the transfer list. The assistant in charge for that one day that I holidayed accepted. 2 days later he asks to be taken off. I mean, for fuck's sake. This guy has been pissed of at me for a year because of this. Then he turns around and changes his mind. Stick to your convictions ](*,) ](*,)

 The first time it froze they actually were 1-0 up... I took a screeny with the error message in case nobody believed me, and subsequent raging to Avy on msn :P
Played it this morning... stayed 0-0 all the way through to the final whistle. Rensing made two saves in the shootout and Parker buried his spot kick to win it \:d/

Came oh so very close to a rage quit last night. Going into my last Champs League group game against Braga needing a win by 1 goals to go through. Braga went up 2-0 in the first half, decided to just throwing everything forward, came back and made it 3-2 in the 83rd minute and it was party time. Had chances to wrap it up but didn't think it would come back to bite me, but it did with Braga getting an equaliser in the 94th minute :( leaving me with the Europa League.

I decided to take the job at Porto. I also am now managing Uruguay, who are now currently fifth after six games in World Cup qualifying.

Alright, through the first window of my second season at Twente.
10 players in, 8 players out. Mainly: Simon Pouplin Tom Cleverly Alberto Costa John Mensah
Got rid of: Theo Janssen 4.4M Janko 1.5M Chadli 2.2M
Europa Group got drawn too: Valencia Brugge Bursaspor Twente
Team is starting to gel after a few shaky performances in the pre-season, looks promising.

First two games as Uruguay coach went much better than I expected. 9-2 win away against Paraguay and a 5-0 win at home against Bolivia. I am currently leading the league with Porto by 2 points after 5 games. In the Champions League I got drawn with Barcelona, Palermo and Tel-Aviv. I was disappointed with an away draw against Palermo after thinking we had snatched a win in a game we were losing for the majority of the match with 2 late goals only for Palermo to score in the 90+4th minute.

Just went through an extremely frantic window with Twente... won the Super cup.... Signed Diego Souza, Gabriel Obertan on loan, Jonathan... they were the big ones. Will post a wrap tomorrow :P
Squad harmony is waaay down... Partly cause Ass man has taken over a few league matches and they don't like how he has been treating them, and a few not liking the number of new signings... I'll get it back up soon with wins on the board :P

Best. Came down to the last day, we were level on points, Fleetwood played Rochdale who were dead last, and I played Dover who were 3rd. I won 4-2, Rochdale did me proud and won 1-0. Heroes.

Season is going ok. Some amazing performances (A few 4-0 wins), but some horrible ones. Lost 0-1 in the Cup to a non league side. Disgusting.
UCL Group: Man Utd Villareal Twente Austria Wien
Drew 2-2 with Man utd and 1-1 with Villareal so far... pretty happy with that.
Midfield has been fantastic, but the defence is what has been a little bit up and down... will help when my new LB comes in Jan.

Notched 7 wins a row in the league now which is nice. Drew at home to Austria Wien ](*,). Need them to take points off Villareal or for me to take points off Man Utd to have any hope of finishing 2nd in the group. :(

Managed to qualify out of my group in UCL :D. Man Utd pumped me 4-0 but Villareal dropped points to Austria Wien so I needed to beat Villareal in the last game to make 2nd... won 2-0. Diego Souza double.
3rd in the league atm... I don't get it, I go 7 wins on the bounce and then play VVV away and the team is just FLAT. Rensing made 5-6 brilliant saves and we lost 1-0, created nothing. So frustrating to watch.
Been linked with Hamburg, Valencia and Galatasaray jobs, but no offers in yet.

I think it's mostly with his age, more than his ability. IMO his free-kicks are worth 2m alone. I need a Lyon side that doesn't give a shit to beat Panathinaikos and my side to pick up at least a point at home to United in order to go through to the Europa League. I really think that I'm screwed, Pana somehow beat United 3-0 earlier in the group stage.

Got knocked out of the Champions League with Porto after drawing with Palermo, who scored in added time to make it a d all draw in both games, losing twice to Barcelona again conceding late to lose 1-0 both times and beating Tel-Aviv 6-1 and 4-1. Palermo came second after they lost their first game to Tel-Aviv 4-1 but then managed to beat Barcelona away 1-0 and draw 0-0 at home to Barcelona. Pochetti took over after I left Twente and has dragged them down to the bottom half of the table after he sold pretty much all my starting 11 and most of my bench before the season started.
