So Ronaldo just scored my 100th league goal of the season with Real Madrid. Lost 2 games all year so far 1 to Sevilla away in the Spanish Cup and one to Shaktar away second leg of ECL were I played a really weak squad. Been helped by the fact Messi has spent most the season out injured my record atm is:

Got my own Winston Bogarde. Blokes played 11 games in 5 seasons and refuses to accept a deal with any other team any time I try and sell him. Thankfully the cunt is retiring at the end of the season.

For whatever reason, Scholes & Giggs were released by United in my current game, and nobody else can sign them in any capacity... they just won't accept deals with anyone else.

Just started playing FM 11 with Catania, about 1/3 of the way through the season and I was looking through my scouting reports, Mario Balotelli was available on a free, I signed him, major win!

I've found that Gerrard and Fabregas don't mix well. Have to play Cesc with Rakitic. Same problem with a regen lad. Midfield combo of Gerrard + Sneijder works a treat though.

I have no fucking idea how FM calculates the 'player of the year'. Half the time there have been half a dozen better players than the one who wins. It seems to just be a popularity contest.

I did that last season. Ran the season unbeaten. 37-1-0 with 115 goals scored.

Love the later stages of leagues in FM. Derby Survive! Chelsea 13th! :D

Chelsea had a shocker, Dennis Wise was in charge.

Man U were headed the same way three seasons back. They had a board takeover in October and since then have spent almost 300m to get back to second. Everton have been the same, spent nearly 150m since their takeover 2 years ago but they keep signing crap.

Love how random teams pop up, too. Bishop's Stortford are a mid-table Championship team in one of my games, with absolutely no input from me. Of course, that was the same game in which I made Oxford Quadruple winners...

Stoke got fucking punished last season and are going to struggle again. Wigan and Fulham are in the championship with them.

Leeds, Hull, Millwall and Nottingham Forest are all in L1.

No major surprise moves just yet in England.

Though, Castalleon found themselves in La Liga last term. Castilla won Liga Adelante and Ponferradina are coming up this season. Zaragoza came dangerously close to relegation from Liga Adelante.

One of my favourite things about playing a long career in FM is seeing where sides end up. January 1st, 2044 in my save atm, and some highlights:

-Basingstoke Town made it all the way up to 11th in the Championship in season 2031, but have since crashed and burned, and are back in the BSP

-Stoke spent 8 straight seasons in the BSP, but have climbed back up to League 1. Wigan and Derby are Lower table League 2.

-Lincoln City, Norwich, Notts Forest, Sheff Wed and Bristol Rovers are all in the EPL. It's Lincoln's first season in the EPL after 2 straight promotions. Bristol are my doing.

-Hearts have won 4 of the past 5 SPL titles, and Airdrie United and Cowdenbeath are both regulars in the top 3/4.

-Barcelona have won a ridiculous 26 out of 33 La Liga titles, and have never finished below 2nd. Since 2025, they've won every title bar 1, when Sevilla won in 2033.

-Evian Thonon Gaillard and Le Havre are regular top 5 in France.

-Every club except Heart and Gold Coast have won the A-League Final at some stage since the save started, although GCU have topped the table at one point.

Fucking love that stuff.

I actually use the windows 7 snipping tool. I dragged into onto the taskbar and use that so I don't have to fuck around with it later.
