I haven't invested at all in youth at Peterborough, and I've had a few decent players come through. Nothing brilliant, but got some nice transfer fees from most of them.

Had a dream JPT run with Cheltenham... knocked out two L1 sides on the way, and have made it to Wembley. I'll almost definitely get smashed to pieces by Forrest, but I'm still very proud of making it there.
Will I get any of the gate receipts from the match?

Euro 2048 Group Stages Italy 2-1 Slovakia Italy 2-0 Ukraine Italy 3-0 Turkey
2nd Round Italy 2-0 Czech Republic
Qual Final Italy 2-1 Germany
Semi Final Italy 3-2 Serbia
Final Italy 2-0 Netherlands
\:d/ \:d/ First time I've actually won a full tournament with an international side. Feelsgood.jpg
Feel sorry for my striker though, was 2nd in the Goalscoring charts after the semi final, but he broke his arm. Would have gotten golden boot for sure otherwise. He's 31 too, probably be too old for the WC.

At 33 he might be too old, but then I've got Torres in my Spain team at 34 so it's a possibility. Though I'm expecting him to retire after the tournament and he's only on the edge of my first team plans this season, I've got HG players in the reserves ready to step up.

Aye, I'll keep giving him the chance, but I've got a lot of depth up front, considering I only play 1 striker.

That is absolutely heartbreaking.
JPT Final, find out before the game it's my 500th game. Underdogs, Wembley, all set up well. Missing best MC and DC though.
0-0 at FT, held my own well. Injury in 110th forcing me to play a man down. And then in the 117th min, i conceded a soft pen. FT 0-1. So cruel.

 Man City just paid 21m for Iker Muniain.
But now it's time to play everyone's favourite game; "who goes through"? It's the 2018 WC knock out stages.

On the final day of the group stage, Australia were top of group F with 6 points, needing only a draw to stay ahead of Italy and avoid Germany in the KO stages. They beat them 3-1.
Meanwhile, in group E, Germany were on top with 6 points and Japan and Uruguay were in second and third place with 3 points (either game was going to be huge for Australia), Uruguay secured a 0-0 draw with Germany to go through.

So I had an urge to manage a lowly nation, and Cuba was my choice. So in doing so, I had to make the Cuban leagues playable. At the same time "cheated", and made the post at Leeds United vacant so I could take the reigns.
Currently am in 4th place with Leeds after 22 games. Behind West Ham in first place, Nottm Forrest in second and Birmingham in 3rd. FWIW, I altered the leagues so it is up to date in regards to who is promoted and who has been relegated.
As for Cuba, just completed the Caribbean Championship and finished second after losing to Jamaica in the final. Only really set out to make the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and managed to do so as the semi finalists qualify automatically.
Quite a decent game. In the past when I am on my break, I really haven't gotten into any games, but this one is quite entertaining nonetheless.

United just bid 1m up front and 39m over the next four years for one of my Atletico players. Release fee clause activated.
Fucking furious. Long-term payments shouldn't be included in release fee clauses.
Mind you, the player in question is 29 so I'm pretty sure I can find a younger replacement for half that...but it'll eat up most of my current transfer budget, so I'm still far from pleased.
