Lost 2-1, which I thought was a pretty decent result considering.
The worst news is that the keeper is out for at least 3 months. Fuuuuuuuu- No youth or reserve keepers? :-k No reserve keepers, I have two youth keepers, but they're terrible. I'm pretty sure I could do a better job in goal.

I've got the same amount of leagues as normal, just in different countries. First crash dump since I updated to 11.3 though.

Started a new save as Spurs, set myself the challenge of having a squad of only British and Irish players within 3 seasons. So far, I've sold Assou-Ekotto for 9.25m, Younes Kaboul for 8m and Giovani dos Santos for 6m + a shitload of clauses.
Signed Jack Robinson from Liverpool on a youth contract, and also brought in Steve Finnan for free to bring some experience to my RB position.
Pissed that Woodgate is injured at the start, need a decent sweeper for my tactic that I'm trying out.
Looking to sign Alex Smithies, James McCarthy and another striker. Could also use a young centre-back who could make cameos throughout the season.

Just started my 4th season in my Newcastle save, Finished the first season in 8th spot and won the League Cup which I was quite pleased with. Finish season 2 in 7th and season 3 in 5th so am improving each year, hopefully this year I can crack the top 3 and maybe win the league. Signed Toni Kroos on a free at the start of last season which was a HUGE coup. I also have Vossen and Hazard both of whom are developing well. In my 3rd straight Euro Cup, have easily made it out of the group stages previously but fall over at the semi/quarter finals. Hopefully I can go on and win it this year...

Had a massive clearout in my Spurs team, and the only foreigners left in the first team are Gomes, William Gallas and Luka Modric. Still have Rafa van der Vaart, but he's being kept out of the team. Oh, and Carlo Cudicini on the bench.
Signed these players so far: Steve Finnan, Jack Robinson, Tom Cairney, Kevin Davies, Marin Kelly, Phil Jones, Joe Mattock, Liam Cooper, Peter Pawlett and Alex Smithies.
Steven Caulker has played well coming off the bench and could well be in the first team after Gallas' contract expires, unless I decide to renew it. Currently 6th in the league, and qualified from the group stages of the Champions League with Barcelona, Lyon and Spartak Moscow the other teams in my group.

Left Foggia after 10 years in charge. Took them from Serie B to Serie A and Europa League Champions. Would have liked to stay with all the money...i mean players, but I just can't seem to get my tactics right in Italian football. Not sure what I'll do next...gonna stick with the Italian side who I just won the WC with, and see what pops up. Probably won't go for another lower league to champions journey though, 2 of those have taken up 30 years of my career, I want something where I'm already ready for success:p

I tend to use it more for training them towards a specific section, rather than keeping them up to date with constantly changing tactics.

You're not using it to its full potential then.

afromanGT wrote:You're not using it to its full potential then. Well no, because it only focuses on one at a time. You can load your three tactics at the top, but if you select a special focus area other than 'none', the team won't learn those tactics that quickly. Because they're focusing whatever area you chose. And because I have 2/3 formations i use, i don't need to use it for anything else.

It's highly beneficial if you need to change formation mid-match though.
I generally don't have any special requirements to focus on anyway. Occasionally I need to go over defending set pieces.

2nd Page? C'mon lads.
So spent all of a week unemployed after leaving Foggia, and then jumped at the chance to return home and manage Celtic again. They were 8th when I joined, after 13 games. Squad was ridiculous, they had 8 DM/MC players. Managed to drag them up to 4th to sneak a Europa League spot. Threw out almost all of the squad. Cut it down from about 25-30 to 14. Signed a bunch of loans and free signings, as I got barely any money for budgets. Had a good start to the season, and a decent Europa group. Should have us back to normal in no time.

My Newcastle side is currently playing very hot and cold, some games I can have upwards of 20 shots and barely score while the other team are banging them in from almost half way, other games my team will completely dominate every stat and win 4 or 5 nil... Been a frustrating season thus far but am still placed to nab a Euro cup spot. Have made the final in the league cup and will be playing liverpool, am out of the group stages of the euro cup also so hopefully can pick up a couple of results and make it to the finals...

I got Blyth promoted into the premier league in my 8th year in charge. It has to have been the toughest season to get promoted I have seen. In any other season so far Swansea would have finished at least 4th and in all but one season Stoke would have finished 1st.

I had a season like that a few years ago, Wigan went up on GD with 91 points, Ipsiwch in second on 91 and Burlney in third on 89. third to eighth was separated by 14 points.
