Yew, well drilled defense. Maybe a bit of luck with the goal (I mean Jesus scoring with his feet!??!?!?.) Some great play by Wilkshire, Holman and Chipperzzzz What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Kennedy Fries Danish Bacon? JOSH Kennedy saves Asutralia's bacon with a goal late in the second half to guide the Socceroos to a 1-0 victory over Denmark in their World Cup warm up.Have your say. Stupid headline! quite a good performance by Aus. We just know how to win, there was no `saving our bacon`.
Interesting: Holman was great! Moore looked much better. What`s going on?!

What the? 'Save Oz Bacon'? As though a draw against Denmark would be poor...
I think we're building really well for the WC. Should be a lot smoother against the US.

Very promising 2nd half, defense actually played the ball through the midfield instead of looking long for JK every time and the wing play was quite good even without Kewell and Emmo

I think we're building really well for the WC. Should be a lot smoother against the US. It is a pretty bad headline. It wasn't as if we were 'saved' in any way. We were in front for almost half the match and we had a pretty solid defense.

agree with mattx... Holman was great and seemed to link up well with Kennedy... now if only there were more players in the squad capable of picking up the ball and creating something special on the attack.

Omg Holman was great tonight. Does this mean that Vidosic will go to SA and Garcia won't?

Those saying it was a 'woefull' performance from the Aussies know nothing about football.
A cool, calm, calculated effort - defensive during the first half, more creative and free-flowing throughout the second.
Sure, there weren't many chances on goal, but it was a great hit out.
Brett Holman was one of the shining lights - really got the game moving. WELL DONE BRETT!!
Great performance, great result - THANKS PIM!!

Good hit out boring match but it was positive and confidence boosting for our boys. Denmark have a quality side Jasper Olsen is going to be a good addition to the A-league he seems to hold Australian football in high regards. I like how he said we deserved to win.

Building well to the Germany game. Moore wasn't bad but still don't think he should start.

Bullsh*t - they had 3 shots on goal, one from a set piece. One Schwazer saved (EASILY) How is that "getting fried"?
Defensively brilliant - we're not a team to attackk for 90 mins, but there was some good, crisp passing in there.
And we won.
Performances really, really gearing up.
Can't wait for the next level against USA

All of the back four were good, including Moore. Holman very good off the bench. Probably man of the match, in fact.
Kennedy, in spite of the goal, wasn't convincing.
Grella was rubbish. Surely his spot in the 11 is under threat from Valeri and Jedinak, who seem to work really well together.

Holman played well. Kennedy was crap the goal was a bit of luck. Definitely not up to scratch he wasn't prepared to give a slight jog at defenders for pressure or anything. Grella's tackles were again excessive and if he does it in the cup he'll be sent off.

love the fact that holman had a great game suck shit holman haters, especially you seriously
haha...suck it!
1st half was poor in a attacking sense, but defensively were very well organised... in a way i fear we may end up playing like greece and going for the counter attack against the bigger teams, i suppose we gotta play to our strengths...even if it aint pretty to watch.
a wins a win...will be good motivation for the boys
schwarzer looked a bit average tonight

oh and wilkshire was man of the match for me his crosses into the box were fantastic, if cahill was still on the field he may have gotten to some of them in the 2nd half.
more of them in the world cup would be nice

I've said it time and time again and I think it's catching on. The socceroos will just always win. It always seems as if a player saves us but seriously it is our game plan. And it's hard to say it doesn't work. Sure means we will never demolish a team but winning is winning.

Once again even Neill tried to score and his shot was on target. Excellent defence, solid squad, good formation, ball possession, smart forward passing to create attacks and shots on target = WIN. No surprise. The boys are on track and should get through to the semis I reckon. Argentina, Brazil and Spain are the only threats if they keep it up. Pim haters please STFU now.

It was a warm up friendly but we seem to lack the intensity needed to be effective at this high level. We need to be a lot more uptempo going forward or this system we play just won't work.
