There's another file in the same folder as the German file that you can delete so the Japanese clubs will have the right names & colours

IT really is. If you go into the folder where you installed FM and search for 'fake.lnc' and delete it BEFORE you start your game save, you'll have all nations available to you. Countries like Germany and Japan will call up their real players. Which is generally a good thing for two reasons 1) When you play these nations they're not ridiculously over-strength in tournaments from their players constantly resetting fitness levels and 2) you can manage the nation now.

I have a pre-season friendly match against AC Milan, half my squad are coming up as 'ineligible'. What the fuck?

Wow i hadn't realised it was in the game until just now but playing against AC Milan in Europa Cup Semi Final and noticed that someone in the crowd had ripped a flare. Thats a very nice touch

Btw in response to the question a few pages back in my FM09 game i never have a GK on my bench and have never had a red card or injury in them games. Risky but the benefits ive had from this had far outweighed any negatives, im prepared to lose badly one game if it ever happens.
