Real Madrid have just given me a ridiculous offer. 575 million transfer budget and 7 million a week wage budget. It is tempting. I just won the premiership and the champions cup with Boreham for the second time. The only competition I have yet to win with them is the FA cup.

Pretty much done all my transfers for Celtic
In - Victor Simoes - 250k. Very good striker for incredibly cheap. Vangelis Moras - Free. Slots straight into my XI alongside Majstorovic too. Ignacio Canuto - 1mil. DRC and DM cover... overpaid on him but he's very good to have Danny Wilson - loan. Defensive cover Daniel Montenegro - AMC, quite expensive but has a lot of quality. Federico Vilar - 2.5mil, big fee but a great keeper.
Sold Commons, Samaras, Cervi, Bangura, Rogne, Mccourt, Cha, Loovens.

Pull both for Tevez and Suarez at the 58th minute. On for 30 seconds, Suarez flicks on a corner to Subotic who heads home. 65th minute, Tevez beats his man and rounds the keeper to double the lead. 68th minute, Tevez gets on the end of a Hendo cross and heads home. 79th minute, Tevez converts a penalty to complete a 14 minute hattrick. Master stroke substitution.

World cup qualifiers have been ridiculously tight...Only Germany and England have wrapped up qualifying so far.
Group 1 has Belgium and Serbia tied on 19 points. Group 2 has Denmark on 22 and Czech Rep and Italy both on 20. Denmark meet Czech Rep, Italy travel to Bulgaria on the final day. Group 4 has Romania on 20, Holland on 19 and Turkey on 18. Holland meet Turkey and Romania play Andorra. Group 5 has Switzerland on 21 and Slovenia on 19. Group 7 has Greece on 21 and Slovakia on 19. Group 9 has Spain and France tied on 19 points. They play each other.
Some fantastic finishes there.

Just got Leicester promoted to the Premiership after taking over in 11th place in November. All 3 sides that got promoted to the EPL last season were all relegated with 4 games to spare.
Massive job ahead to make them competetive, looking at lots of free transfers. Just agreed to sign Jerson Cabral from Feyenoord on a Bosman, will give me some quality on the wing. Have to get a MC to support Andy King and probably need a top class DM; Gelson Fernandes is available, will have to beat off competition from Sevilla to sign him.

Not the best of starts with Celtic. Not horrible, but struggling a bit. Finishing is a real issue. 28 shots, 6 on target. 17 shots, 5 on target. Stuff like this.
2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss in the league so far. Beat ADO Den Haag 1-0 on aggregate to qualify for the group stage of the Europa League.
The highest four average ratings in my team are my DR, DCR, DCL and DL. So I'm doing good at the back. Just have to finish better. Stokes, Hooper and Moraes just not doing it. Top scorer is Montenegro, who has been great at AMC. (Cue funky saying I need a finisher like the greek donkey)
PSG Celtic Rapid Bucarest Genk
My Europa group. Should be alright.

My Europa group. Should be alright. What formation are you playing? I tend to stick to a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 with pacy wingers.

Shouldn't of got rid of Paddy McCourt tbh. Worked wonders for me as an impact sub. Speaking of which, I might go back to Celtic...

4-2-4 is just too attacking for me, always getting caught on the counter. 442 Diamond provides the right level of support for me, throughout the park.

I'm the same as Gooner, always go the 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-4 with 2 wingers. Never had any problem with 4-2-4 being to attacking though.

Playing the narrow diamond actually... Ledley, Kayal, Ki, Brown... lots of good central players and not enough talent on the flanks tbh.
Hitting some better form now.... Five clean sheets in a row, 4 wins and 2 draws in my last 6 games. Back to back 3-0 wins in the league, but still problems with finishing.
In those two 3-0 wins, I had 30 shots and 10 on target. Not really good enough

I'm not just saying this imno, but you can pick up Shaqiri for around 16 million and he's your wing problem fixed. Somewhat worked for me in FM11.

I nearly always start with 4-2-3-1 with wingers. If I need goals the attack mid goes forward and becomes the second striker in 4-2-4. If I am struggling defensively and I have a good defensive mid available either I send the attacking mid or one of the centre mids back as a defensive mid for 4-1-2-2-1 or 4-1-1-3-1.

I always have 2 different formations. One for home, one for away. Last FM, I had 4-2-3-1 at home and 4-1-2-2-1 (AKA 4-5-1)This FM though, I've kept the same formation at home, but changed the player roles a bit, and away we play a 4-4-1-1, essentially dropping the two wingers back to normal Wide players. My wingers almost always cut inside, I love utilizing that play. Obv ignore all the players and arrows in those links, just using them to illustrate the actual formation.
