Looks like you need some work on defence there.

I started a new game unemployed and failed miserably after taking the helm at Swallows. I left them after 5 games to fail again at Victory I resigned when it was apparent that we weren't going to make the finals and a sacking was imminent. I have know taken charge of Sydney. First thing I did was sell Emerton to Saudi Arabia and then sign Holman on free transfer. Victory beat me to Ogenovski's signature and now are frustrating the hell out of me by offering James Holland a marquee contract again and again even though they already have two marquees.

Board just accepted a 1.8m bid for Macca over my head. Spose in theory it's good, Free to 1.8m in 4 months is awesome, but still. He was gunning it.

Try offering him a new contract? Hands were tied. Literally couldn't offer him any more wages without making him a marquee, and the spots are filled. Deal's done now. I've got a bit of depth, so we should be alright.

The last time I conceded was in the 52nd minute, v Arsenal away, League Cup, January 25th 2017. The last time I conceded in the league was the 33rd minute, v Chelsea away, January 22nd 2017.
It's now April 4th, 2017 and I face Real Madrid away.

So did the maths. It's been 1137 minutes all up, and 867 minutes in the league.

11.mvfc.11 wrote:4-1 loss Well...he lasted until the 42nd minute  Ronaldo marginally onside, goes one-on-one and rounds the keeper :( 1179 minutes unbeaten is a pretty epic run. However, they were 3-0 down at the time (Griezmann 12, Cavey 16, Aguero 24). So we went into the break 3-1 up and added a 4th through Pato in the 48th, Ronaldo hit a second 20 minutes later and Gerrard wrapped things up 5-2 from the spot in the 79th. Heinrich finished with an 8.1 rating for making 6 saves (3 from CCC's).

So, Had a pretty good 2nd Season with Victory.
In all comps(A-League, Finals, ACL Group and 2nd Round); Played 37 Won 24 Drew 13 Lost 0 Scored 68 Conceded 24
Finished 20 points clear on top of the Table, and then won the Grand Final 5-0 over the Mariners.
Also, not too worried about losing Macca anymore. With a couple of weeks left in the season, Jo turned up on a free, and accepted a standard, 3.1k a week contract. Laughing.

Lesson learned: back up your save games and save them some place where people won't delete the file. Y'know, like in the FM folder... You might have to just download the RTE and use that to extend Jedinak's contract, Funky. That's a stupid as bug.

I'm not too concerned. He'll be 32 at the end of his contract, and I'll probably upgrade to someone new, if I'm still here, but he was willing to cut 1.5k off his wage. And my Danish Marquee was willing to cut 2.5k as well, but I had the same problem.

Like I said earlier, sticking with Lewes for this season. They've inspired me. Anyway, cut 3/4 of the squad in the off-season and brought in a lot of young quality free transfers. I'm over my wage cap by about 2k, but the board have told me if by half way through the season I'm in the play-offs position, they'll increase my cap by a further 5k. Anyway, signed 20-Y/O Ross Meechan on a free. Been playing decently with St. Mirren in the SPL but they've released him. According to my advisors and scouts he was to be my best RB, and one of the best in the league, all excited, etc. First pre-season friendly against Brighton (parent club) he takes a tumble and breaks his arm, 2 minute into the game. :x. We lost 3-0, but that's not the point. I've just lost my best defender for 8-10 weeks. :x In other good news, I've signed a ex-Premier League Swedish Striker in Filip Pivkovski. Was playing with Blackburn, currently a Swedish U-21 which may become annoying in the season when he's constantly playing for Sweden. Hoping I might be able to sell him on in the near future (end of season) for a bit of coin. He's arguably going to be the best striker in the league (I hope)
