Interesting scenario for Hull... it's almost better to them to lose to you guys (they're safe surely) and help you finish in the top 4 because that way if they lose to you in the Cup final they still qualify for the Europa league.

Or....or....OR they could try to win both.

As good as Giroud's first touch was for his goal, I still can't get over Ramsey's header for Poldi's 2nd. To head a ball directed and weighted perfectly in that position while he's going the opposite way is ridiculous. Completely took Tomkins out of the game/ Edited by sydneycroatia58: 17/4/2014 11:41:11 AM

Yeah tjat header is freaky good. It actually cuts out three defenders. He couldn't have headed it any more perfectly
What is the giroud gif about?

Hopefully we win our next 3 and Everton fail to win 2 of their next 3 so we can rest a whole bunch of players against Norwich for the final.

Or....or....OR they could try to win both. I'd just make sure that they play completely different to how they plan to play in the final, park the bus now, attack at Wembley IMO.

I'm not convinced they'll park the bus. The only way they're guaranteed to be in Europe. Don't forget they've got a Six pointer against Fulham coming up and a tough last two games against United and Everton, so they need any points they can get. BBC aren't doing their table predictor this year either :-k Edited by afromanGT: 17/4/2014 07:30:08 PM

So Özil to have a fitness test before Hull on Sunday. Gibbs is out, Monreal could be back but I would keep Vermaelen at LB over him.

It'd be good if Ozil could even get 20 minutes in this game, can't wait to see him back in the team, we've missed him so badly.

Liverpool winning the title might not be such a bad thing  Might mean we still have a slight chance at 3rd. If we win our next 2 games and they beat Chelsea we'll be just 2 pts behind Chelsea with 2 games left.

But in saying that, any team that losses Wilshire, Ramsay, Ozil all at the same time are going to struggle a little bit.

I'll wait until I actually see it on the players before I make a judgment. I remember hating our current kit when I saw pictures, but loved it once I saw it on the players.

Rambo and Poldi haven't had a bad week. Poldi with 4 goals in 2 games and Rambo with 3 assists and a goal.

Just had a quick look at the St Totteringhams Day race, just for a bit of fun and windup..
Arsenal 70pts, +21 GD Sp*rs 63pts, +2 GD Both played 35games
Sp*rs can't lose any of their remaining three games (Stoke away, West Ham away, Villa home). They need to at the very least win 2 and draw 1 (and make up 19 goals in GD), but basically need to win all three.
If Arsenal win any of their remaining three games (Newcastle home, West Brom home, Norwich away), it's all over.
If Arsenal go undefeated for their remaining three games, even drawing three times, it's all over. Sp*rs need at least 1 Arsenal loss in those 3 to avoid it.
Sp*rs play Sunday morning, Arsenal play Tuesday morning. While it's not a definite, there is a very real chance that as early as Sunday, but possibly Tuesday, Arsenal fans can celebrate St Totteringhams Day for the 19th consecutive season.

While I can see it's just a bit of fun, I don't understand why at a club that in the space of a few months has gone from claiming themselves title contenders, praising the manager and players to (mostly) turning on the manager, claiming the players are not good enough and having a go at the board, you still continue to talk yourselves up by belittleing us.
Lets face it, every year for the last few years something like this has happened (this year you went well for a bit longer, and been comtarble in 4th), everyone says you'll sneak into fourth or finally crash out if Europe, then you have a few good games and talk yourself up again and praise Wenger, then you crash down to fifth and call for Wenger to be sacked. Then you finally creep into fourth and forget about wanting Wenger out, because you finished above us. Sure we are your rivals, but do you see fans of other teams go 'We finished 7th but it doesn't matter because we finished above Everton' or is not care about finishing 6th because we are above West Ham, or Newcastle have a crap season but say 'It's ok, because Sunderland got relegated'.
4th is NOT good enough for Arsenal, no matter how you look at it. 6th is NOT good enough for us in our current state either. It's almost like you hate us more than you love Arsenal .

A lot of it has to do with your players constantly going on every season about this is the year you overtake us, and we like to give a little back come the time it's confirmed you won't.
Also, no one here has called for Arsene to be sacked, just that it might be time he leave of his own accord. And no one claims 4th is good enough for us, of course it's not.

Edited by milan_7: 22/4/2014 06:17:50 PM TBF, the only time Spurs are mentioned in this thread is from PV4 who brings them up far too often.
