The scottish sun. Possibly the only newspaper in The UK worse than The Sun. Edited by afromanGT: 11/7/2012 04:13:43 PM

Will be disappointed to see him go, particularly if it's to Liverpool, but for the Fee being thrown around, I'll drive him there myself.

He'd provide adequate cover for Lucas.

I wouldn't say a waste of time, but the 6-8m being touted would make him an expensive bench/depth player.

It will be a fun if MonKI joins Liverpool. Kagawa joined Man U and we may be able to see them both on the same pitch. MonKI is not hated in Japan, but regarded as a fun stuff to bash. On the contrary, Kagawa is beloved. Messageboard in Japan will be filled with bad words.(I can't wait to see that) Park is respected in Japan, and he is decent man, so there is no fun.
Question is if they can be starter.....

Starting to doubt these Ramirez links too.
It seems more and more like Borini is the one that Rodgers meant when he said 'hopefully two' signings this week. So who is the more certain first signing he was talking about? Perhaps Dempsey. Some Liverpool fans I know seem to think it will be Sturridge.

PSG have reportedly had an offer accepted by AC for Ibra... surely they wouldn't come after Andy?
Dempsey and Borini will come in, I'm also pretty confident we're going for/will get Allen as well, I assume as cover for Lucas in Zone 3. Sounds good to me.

AC will be more interested in spending their money on Tevez if Ibra leaves and not Carroll imo.

Did PSG end up signing Thiago Silva? Would be intense if they bought both Silva and Ibra from AC

And they've reportedly bid for Modric
Front three of Lavezzi--Ibra--Nene = Fuck off
And then potentially Modric - T. Motta - Pastore.

It would be hard but I think to get back to the top, they are going to have to admit it didn't work out (still time to prove me wrong) and get rid of him. Especially if Rodgers wants to build something. Surely a player like Carroll wouldn't be in his plans.

Why not? Graham was his key front man at Swansea, and he's not a particularly skillful/pacy striker. We just need a focal point. We don't need to play the ball in the air for Carroll to be good. He actually is very good with ball at feet, as he proved at the back end of last season. It's been one full season ffs, the entire team was poor, and Andy started less than half the games for us. It would be totally unfair to ship him out now .

Yeh, it would be unfair but that's football at the top level and a club like that. He was the same at Newcastle, probably better at Newcastle in all honesty.

He has a massive value to the team in regards to his physical presence. By taking defenders out of the game as the focal point, he opens up space for the likes of the inside forwards (suarez). Towards the end of the season we also saw he is pretty good at holding the ball up.
