It will actually be interesting to see what, if any effect this has on a potential transfer.

I'm so angry with Suarez.
Third time offender. Dives after he bit the guy.
Seriously, from non-football mates I cop a bit of shit about things like diving and whatnot and at times I can defend the sport and not feel super embarrassed but at other times I just can't - and this is one of those I can't defend it moments.
This biting thing is a disgusting, embarrassing, and dangerous act that is literally undefendable. Anything less than a year ban, I will be furious.

Dear me. Doesn't help himself does he.
Is it likely that this ban will carry over to PL or is it just NT football?
I can see a 4 month ban or something.

Yeh, that's what I want to know. I have a feeling that that it's just international football. But it realy should include all football in my opinion. Anyone know?

15+ games ban for Bitey Boy. I'd like 25 games, but that won't happen

FIFA have the power to ban him from any football competition worldwide if they wanted to. Whether they choose to extend it to league games as well is a different story. They have done it before with Cantona.

Mike Tyson had his boxing licence revoked for biting Holyfield. Granted, he bit him twice, and removed a part of Holyfield's ear, but still. I THINK Tyson's licence was removed indefinitely, and a year or two later some form of judiciary voted to give it back to him.
Anything less than a year ban from all football for Suarez, I'll be upset with.

#-o Wtf Suarez? Unless he can somehow prove Chiellini shouldered him in the mouth, give him a lengthy ban. Well done to these people though http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/06/luis-suarez-biting-prop-bet-norway

The FIFA disciplinary code only applies to matches organised by FIFA, so will only be international football. He's been charged and decision has to be made before Friday. You get 6 games for spitting so he may not be playing for Uruguay for a while.

Don't give a fuck how long he's banned for URU, just hope it doesn't ban him for us. And it might.

Ok so apparently he would be banned from International football for anywhere up to 2 years by FIFA and then the FA and UEFA can apply to have that ban extended worldwide so he'd be banned for Liverpool and the Champions League, or any other UEFA tournament obviously. Then, even if the FA and UEFA don't apply to have the ban extended FIFA can extend it to a global ban if they see fit.

Jesus H fucking Christ. The guy bit an opposition player and people are talking about a global blanket ban? Talk about going over the top. You'd think he punched Sepp Blatter in the face or curb-stomped a teammate with the way people are carrying on.
He'll be banned for 10-12 international matches.

So assuming his ban starts immediately he'll be back the end of October.
Will miss 9 league games, including City and Sp*rs away and Everton at home, as well as 3 UCL games.

9 league games, 3 ECL games, 1 (possibly 2) cup matches + 9 internationals is 22 matches. That's basically the harshest punishment they could hand out.

Apparently this stadium ban applies to any stadium Liverpool or Uruguay are playing at.

After your recent comments I doubt you know what FIFA's jurisdiction is. FIFA have no say in who is or isn't permitted at a club's training facilities. Applying a ban on a footballer that crosses over from international to domestic football was bad enough, but in banning him from all club activities they've crossed the line. It's none of FIFA's business who is involved at the training facilities.
