I wouldn't expect much, based on their previous Aus tour supports.

Wouldn't surprise me. Daysend if we're lucky. I'm not expecting a big international support.

If it's Airbourne I'm not going
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I don't really think the support will make that much difference will it?

Blue - Calvin Harris. The lyrics are scarily close to what I've been feeling the last few weeks.

Bought Hard-Fi's Stars of CCTV yesterday. Quite the awesome. If your into any English indie rock, like Kaiser Chiefs, then I can't recommend this enough.
Also been playing a lot of Thrice in celebration of my tattoo of their logo I got yesterday. Loving it.

Its an amazing album. Their 2nd best IMO.
Last Dance With Mary Jane - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Heartbreaker - MSTRKRFT.

I kinda enjoyed listening to Crisis the other day actually. But I liked the way Beggars got heavier again after the alchemy indexes and Vheissu.

Identity Crisis.
Really shows how much the band have grown when you listen to that. I still enjoy the album, but comparing it to Vheissu is quite amazing.
Vheissu has much heavier songs than Beggars.

Vheissu is not a heavy album, it's powerful, experimental and ambitious, but I don't feel that it's heavy.

Neither is beggars. Song for song though, Vheissu has heavier songs, Hold Fast Hope being the obvious one. The only really 'heavy album' Thrice have done is the Illusion of Safety. Or that's as close as it gets anyway.

Illusion of Safety had a reall crunchy sound. That was the closest they ever really got to a hardcore sound...kinda prog hardcore.

That song has an awesome riff. So distinct. Pity Alecia Keys had to rip it off.
Enter Shikari - Solidarity.

listening to some old Tom Waits. Even in his 20s he sounds like he has been chain smoking and knocking back three bottles of scotch a day for 30 years.

Everybody wanks on and on and on about Tom Waits. I don't see what's so great about him. If you wanted that just listen to early Louis Armstrong.

May as well say "Everybody wanks on and on and on about early Metallica. I don't see what's so great about them. If you wanted that just listen to Motorhead." or a million other examples. First time Ive mentioned Tom Waits. Hardly wanking on and on and on. I dont think he has had a top 50 album in his life. Nor have I noticed anyone mention him in the forum before. So thats hardly everybody.

Yeah, but you've got to remember that I study music. There are differences in style between Motorhead and Metallica.
Nico's mentioned Tom Waits before, I really can't get into him.
