Woop Woop, Bring Me The Horizon, Amity Affliction and Asking Alexandria sideshow in Melbourne. Deffinitely hitting that up, should cut out a lot of potential clashes at Soundwave.

1.BMTH - There Is A Hell Believe Me I've Seen It, There Is A Heaven Let's Keep It A Secret 2.Pendulum - Immersion 3.Stick To Your Guns - The Hope Division 4.The Sword - Warp Riders 5.The Dillinger Escape Plan - Option Paralysis 6.Kvelertak - Kvelertak 7.Mutiny Within - Mutiny Within 8.The Devil Wears Prada - Zombie EP 9.Parkway Drive - Deep Blue 10.ADTR - What Separates You From Me 11.As I Lay Dying - The Powerless Rise 12.Gyroscope - Cohesion 13.The Amity Affliction - Youngbloods 14.Kingdom of Sorrow - Behind The Blackest Tears 15.Murderdolls - Women and Children Last
That's a pretty awesome list of albums. Didn't have much hope for this year, considering the talent we got last year, but it ended up pretty damn good.

In response to Rob...the sound sounds just like the Perth show. Someone at school went and said they were awesome. However, he did note at times the sound wasn't that great. For instance, he said it was hard to hear the solo in One due to the bass or something like that, I can't remember. Anyway, sounded like they were good, but the Burswood dome was being it's usual shitty acoustics self. If FF come next year and play there, i think i will end myself. Crappest venue in WA. Only band to have overcome the acoustics are Coldplay.

This is metal, not a pop concert that relies so much on stage production. Fear Factory playing at Burswood Dome? Isn't that place too big for someone like FF? I never saw them do Big Day Out live but i have seen footage and also heard from others that they weren't very good. However i've seen them twice at the Thebarton Theatre and they completely KILLED it. Super frkn tight. And they get that album mix right... the triggered kick drum sound and razor sharp guitars. Very hard sound to capture live. If you can't get the kick drum out to the people, everything else completely falls apart.

I know what you're saying, but none of its emo. Post-hardcore is the closest to emo I listen to.

I don't think there's any Emo on my list. At least none that I would consider emo.
Nice work Afro.
Have they released timetables for No Sleep Til yet?

Same night as BMTH. Would really like to go to both because it would knockout BMTH, Sum 41, Amity and AA as clashes for me. So now me and the GF are considering going to Brisbane Soundwave instead. Just too many bands on this lineup

Kezia - Self Titled. If you like metalcore, get this album. Its so good. Their debut album, can't find anything of them on youtube, or lastfm, but they will get big. No doubt.

Its not Homesick, so if you're comparing it to that, it won't be very good. On its own its pretty good.

I don't know why, seeing as I haven't listened to Homesick for a while, I don't think it's that. It's just not the best stuff they can do I think.

It was meant to be different to their other stuff. They wanted to be put outside their comfort box.

Edited by Nico: 19/11/2010 03:06:26 PM Is it? It sounds a little poppier than normal to me, but otherwise, it sounds like standard ADTR. Still quite like it though.

I wouldn't have said it was 'poppier'...For Those Who Have Heart was poppy. I thought it was heavier than we'd previously heard. Very driven bass line, more dirty vocals - though the lyrics were more pop-stylised.
