Our midfield is really starting to play some good football, Pendles is as classy as ever, but now Beams is getting back to his pre injury All Australian form and Caff is really starting to become one of the elite run with players in the competition, plus Swanny showed signs of improvement on Friday too. If our forward line can finally step up and capitalize on our midfield brilliance we should take this one imo. I think both sides will fancy their chances to an extent. Neither is playing their best football just yet but Dal Santo had a good game this weekend, Cunnington played a blinder for us, we've got Jack Ziebell back. If we can get someone to take some of the attention off Petrie (Looking at you, Daw) we're looking good considering that we're still without Andrew Swallow. True, I think Caff will line up on Dal Santo though and his ability to nullify the oppositions most damaging midfielders is increasing every week, he was absolutely superb on Cotchin last week. I've always rated Dal Santo but I think Caff can contain him easily enough but a part of me wants him to line on someone else because NDS is going to be crucial to my supercoach draft team this week. It really might come down to which massively out of form forward (Petrie and Cloke) can have an impact, Nathan Brown is a chance to return apparently which would mean he'd line up on Petrie, hopefully Jesse White can continue his form to take the heat off Cloke.

I rate Nicky Dal as a player but he can be very hot and cold. If he gets a half decent tagger on him he goes missing all game and just kind of gives up which will put huge strain on Wells and Ziebell to make all the plays.

I'm still undecided on what trades to make this week, I want to get rid of Josh Caddy but not sure whether to go for the short-term risk/long term cash potential of getting Sam Lloyd in or to go for someone like Luke Parker. Edited by Cromulent: 17/4/2014 09:36:57 AM Yea I've had some injuries as well Wingard, Enright, Mummy, Hanley, S Mitchell (only very short term), plus Currie not playing making me cop a doughnut one week. Yea I've got Caddy as well :( will probably swap him to Pav, because its well Pav. =p~

Get fucking pumped. Quarter time and Brisbane have 1 point. Their lowest score at quarter time since the merger.

If Richmond could kick better than 4.12 Lions would be well boned.

Well that sucked. Petrie's getting molested in every game, Wells and Hansen were rubbish and Nathan Grima is useless. Cunnington was about the only positive to take from the game.

Not to mention the teeth counting technique for the attendance figure. Why do you keep coming here and posting the same shit? I never understand the fixation some people have with things they hate, if you don't like AFL just fucking deal with it and stopping seeking out it's presence in your life FFS, it's pathetic really.

I never understand the fixation some people have with things they hate, if you don't like AFL just fucking deal with it and stopping seeking out it's presence in your life FFS, it's pathetic really. Just think of it as me posting an opinion against my most hated AwFuL team. Otherwise, this would just be a big wank thread, right ? I love seeing them fail. Just as a Carlton fan would love seeing Collingwood fail. Edited by sobkowski: 25/5/2014 07:19:18 PM Everyone is entitled to their opinion but when all you do is come here and bash GWS or drop a bitter comment about the game it's hardly conducive to discussion, imo the fact you had to seek out and bump a thread that hadn't been posted in for over a month to share an unintelligent and useless dig at the game is just sad. Your comments are not shedding light on anything we don't already know and are in no way seeking to address the topic of the thread, it's just you sharing a childish rant that we've heard time and again. You're just wasting your own time focusing attention on a subject matter that you clearly hate which makes no sense whatsoever, why anyone would actively immerse themselves into a subject area they hate purely to spread hate is absolutely beyond me, I mean why fuel the cycle? Is your life so sad that you have nothing better to do than actively seek out information about a sport you hate, so you can come into a thread and be a dick when you know no one gives a shit about your agenda anyway? Surely there are better ways to spend your time. Edited by fredsta: 25/5/2014 07:52:53 PM

FOOTBALL IS DA BEST !! YOU USE YOUR HANDS IN GAYFL THEY SHOULD CALL IT HAND EGG!!!
You also literally have no reason what so ever to hate the giants. It is actually pathetic that grown men go to internet forums to actively bash something they have no interest in out of some inferiority complex.

Pity he couldn't see out the season, but after this season's showing from the club it was inevitably going to be his last anyway. Well done on a champion career to him.
