I'll be very disappointed if Billy Slater doesn't get his head kicked in.

So Marshall wants out of the Tigers, probably the best for both parties.

What a team. :d =d> Some very good players miss out as well. Quote: ALLAN Langer and Wayne Bennett have revealed the painting of the Broncos’ Greatest Grand Final team as they were honoured as the captain and coach of the side in Brisbane tonight. In front of 1200 guests at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the pair who had so much success together on the playing field were chosen to reveal the three metre by two-metre canvas of the Broncos’ ultimate dressing room scene. Tonight the 13 greatest grand final players of the Broncos were named, as chosen by the readers of the Courier Mail in a seven-week poll earlier this year. The team was kept under wraps while the painting was done by renowned sports artist Jamie Cooper in a labour of love that took six weeks. The team selected covers all eras of Broncos’ grand finals; 1.Darren Lockyer 2.Mick Hancock 3.Chris Johns 4.Steve Renouf 5.Wendell Sailor 6.Kevin Walters 7.Allan Langer (captain) 8.Shane Webcke 9.Kerrod Walters 10.Glenn Lazarus 11.Gorden Tallis 12.Brad Thorn 13.Tonie Carroll Coach: Wayne Bennett http://www.broncos.com.au/news-display/Broncos-Greatest-Grand-Final-Team-Revealed/79372

Overweight precious is not happy - I have admired what he has done in the past but once key players behave like this they peeev me off. Get on with your game to your best capabilities whilst your manager works around your current contract into another job, be it union or whatever ! So game 3 approachs - a brisso footballing mate has invited many of us to his place for viewing - I really think he just loves it that being the only qlder with his wife they'll be there laughing by FT having won 8 on the trot  Thankfully I'm not a full on die hard over this but a Blue win would be a good change :)

Shittest origin in awhile to be honest. Streaker saved it. Far too many Kiwis in one pub for my liking.

Brent Tate MOM, good joke Channel 9
NSW just not good enough
Can I just say, after Wally Lewis' performance tonight, if I ever hear another QLDer complain about supposed bias NSW commentary I will fucking murder them. If Lewis can't even be a little professional and resist being a cheerleader he should fuck off.

Frustrating. Hopefully that means the end of Farah and Pierce at this level. So often in this series they would throw away all our momentum by trying to overplay their abilities when just playing percentages would have got results. I think we would have won playing a NRL level serviceable halfback and hooker who's only instruction was to keep errors down and the ball rolling.

Farah won't be going anywhere, still probably the best option there and I think he struggles with Pearce because he's forced to do fucking everything. Put Adam Reynolds at 7 and Farah will be much better off. If Pearce is playing Origin next year there is going to be fucking hell to pay

I really think dodgy selections keep losing NSW the series every year. Merritt in game II was an awful tactic and so is picking Pearce every year, the poor guy is so far off the pace it's not funny. When are they finally figure out he's not cut out for Origin? Maloney is another bizarre choice, he's never figured in origin calculations and then one day boom he's in there. Why? Because he plays for Rooster and they figure he will form this deadly potent halves combo with Pearce that will have Cronk and Thurston will be shaking in their boots. What the selectors don't figure is that no matter who plays with who or what cheesy combinations you form if you're not good individually for Origin you're not good enough period. Probably never, our selectors are just plain daft. Just out Carney and Reynolds in there who gives a fuck who they play for or how old they are or how many times they've played together, they are origjn players so pick them.
I fear the more series we lose the more bizarre, illogical and retarded the selections and tactics will get. We may never win a state of origin series again.
