I still find it ridiculous that I can watch more live AFL matches on free to air than NRL matches, one live match a week FFS. A truly horrendous tv deal.

Yep, NRL truly bent over for Channel 9.

Personally i don't care because i just go around the Geo Blocking and watch their HD international stream but still I remember the days before then in Melbourne when we were lucky to even get the Grand Final on TV.

Although strangely, its one of the few sports that have all the onfield rules right

I prefer watching league over union anyday, Union is too much like AFL where they score penalties, whereas in League penalty goals are worth jack, and so are field goals, and the objective is to score tries

I'm a realist, we've got to draw a line in the sand and stop carrying these guys.

Most people in this thread know that I've been a big supporter of Hoffman over the years but he's been nothing but prima donna the last 18 months, we shouldn't pay 500K a season for a winger.

Thaiday turns up for a handful of games every season, at the moment he's lazy, unfit & overweight. Just watch him this week, he'll hide for most of the match, take a handful of runs and will flop over at the first sign of contact.

Glenn is really a nothing player, he'd be solid off the bench but shouldn't be a starter.

If it was up to me I send a couple of other players on their way.

We can use the the extra cash to re-sign Mcquire, Hunt & Oates asap, as well as bringing in a few new faces.

Our backrow this season has been very poor for next season it should be for next season:

11: Oates
12: Gillett
13: Parker

Could Farah be anymore of a grub?

Hope we smash the shit out of them on the weekend.
