How you can kick someone in the face and stay on the field I'll never know. Fucking disgraceful.

Finally Reynolds is sent to the sin bin for a high tackle. Biggest grub in the NRL. Should get 10+ weeks for this display.

Good to get the win :d , everyone played well this week.
Probably the most frustrating thing about getting rid of the 'biff' is little shits like Reynolds get away with murder every game.

As much of a grub as Renoylds is, surprised nobody's kicked Thiaday in the face before now.

While I 100% agree that he should have been sent off for the trip, this idea that he deliberately kicked Thaiday in the face is hilarious. He can't even see Thaiday's face. Yeah he kicked out, it happens in every game, this time he unfortunately kicked Thaiday in the face, but to say he was meaning to kick him in the face is genuinely funny.
That being said, I know it won't happen, but I would love for the club to suspend him for the rest of the season if the NRL don't. Will only be 4 games anyway since we won't be making the 8.

Massive overreaction on Reynolds. A couple of weeks for the trip is all. Seen way worse lashes out in the play the ball, just unlucky that it connected

Edited by sydneycroatia58: 9/8/2014 11:12:31 AM Nah its not like he could feel Thaidays upper torso and arms in that tackle. He knew full well what he was doing. He's a filthy grub and it will probably need a Tate to break his neck or a Barba to break his leg for him to face a lengthy ban.

You see what he did at least once a set, nothing would have been said if Thaiday didn't take a dive. Also can't people in the same week you call Reynolds a grub (which he is) but praise Tallis, who took the word grub to a whole new level back in the day :d

Was funny to watch, but bit of a dick move by JT to take that final conversion with his left foot.

Yeah they'll be gunning for JT next time they play. Paramatta are now very likely to play finals footy with likely wins over the Dogs, Knights and Raiders to come..just let that sink in.

I would agree with that if the dogs weren't just as bad last night  Having said that they might do it tough coming back from up there. The dogs aren't playing anything like a Hasler coached team at the moment

Doing a ladder predictor last night and if we want to make the finals Friday night is an absolute must win against Parra. Lose that and I'd say we're out. The way I see it we have to win 3 of our last 4, which I think will have us in 7th. We are capable of winning against the Eels, Tigers and Titans (forget Souths, that's a 100% loss), but whether we can pull ourselves out of the hole we're in at the moment is a whole other story.
Storm losing last night did help us a bit, keeps us with them, for now at least.
Crazy how tight the comp is at the moment. A win on Friday would have had us 4th/5th until Monday at least, but a loss will have us in 8th at the end of the round if the Warriors win.
Taking last night's results into account, and just going on results forgetting for and against I see the Top 8 looking like this.
1. Rabbitohs 2. Manly 3. Warriors 4. Cowboys 5. Roosters 6. Storm 7. Bulldogs 8. Eels

Apart from the Eels and the Panthers it's not that crazy really.

Still the Roosters in the top 4. Realistically only need to win 1 of the games against Storm, Warriors and Rabbitohs to make it as long as we take care of the tigers and titans. I think Penrith will just hold on to 8th which is a shame because without these injuries they would have done it easy.
My top 4 is Rabbits, Eagles, Cowboys and Roosters. If that happens I think they will be the last 4 left. The 3 Sydney teams would have to lose twice in a row at home and the cowboys would have to lose up there for that to change which I don't see happening

YES Throw the book at him. The idea that poor Reynolds, this is out of character he didn't mean it is bull shit. FFS he was held up in a two man dominant tackle on his back, he was never going to get a fast play the ball and he wasn't even attempting to get a quick play the ball, he wasn't wriggling on the ground, bouncing up and down to get a quick play the ball. He was lying dead on his back showing no intent to move, until he thrust his legs back to get a two footed lunge at an opponent.

If that's not careless or reckless I don't know what is.

High and dangerous tackles happen as well, doesn't mean you need to throw the book at the player. It's as brutal as sport as you'll find, things like this happen
