Great win. :D
A little bittersweet though, two years in a row that Griffin has waited until our season was dead to make changes that were obvious for all to see in the opening rounds of the season.

 If the Cowboys win tonight the Bulldogs will somehow have a real shot at a top 4 place.

If we can beat the warriors without a recognized hooker tomorrow that should get us in the four. Sonny Bill coming back is huge for us

If Cowboys make the finals I reckon we can go all the way. Manly is the only real final test heading into the big weeks. -PB

The Cowboys problem has always been backing up performances like that, and they'll have to do it 2 weeks in a row in Sydney if they want to win it. If the Roosters can't win it I'd love to see JT captain that premiership he deserves.

Watching the Challenge Cup Final @ Wembley on BBC 1. It's actually sad that i am in such shock and awe of seeing Rugby League being properly broadcast with insightful pundits, cracking analysis and no fucking cross promotions for reality tele shows.

Pretty simple equation for the Bulldogs now. Win our last 2 games and we finish no lower than 5th. To finish top 4 all we need is for Penrith to win tomorrow night, we win our last 2 games and we finish top 4 regardless of other results in the final 2 rounds.

What a difference Sonny Bill and Friend make. Now looking at the very real possibility that for the second year in a row we will play the Rabbitohs for the minor premiership in the last round.

Technically speaking, a drugs cheat captained NSW to origin victory. Should strip them of that title.... 9 in a row

All of those are probably the most likely results, but pretty unlikely they will all happen, especially this season :d

and it was a cracking game between souths and cantebury tonight
Thats the best thing about NRL compared to AFL, more closer contests
Unfortunately AFL fans dont enjoy consternation and uncertainty about the result

I've never seen a bigger howler in all my years of watching this game than tonight by the refs. Disgraceful.

yer my error in excitement  Thruston v's us should be a top game, if we get the minor prem great but were locked in for the 2 chances in the finals that more important. Happy for the brooki faithful watching our guys come back and send off Jason King, glenn sadly departing and possibly more than we wish for by next season starts. Nonetheless we showed our grit after last weeks loss and lack of form last weeks.

Despite the fact it was Manly, and traditionally people not just hate that club, but the snobs from the North Shore in general Despite the fact the game is not as genuine as it was when it was the local hero salivating the day, and most of the guys who play the game these days are pumped full of peptides etc etc The atmosphere at Brookvale oval, on a perfect sunday afternoon, with the hill full of people, making a noise and atmosphere in the game against the panthers, this is one of the few hedonistic experiences Australian sport has to offer. Sure there will be afl trolls saying their game is better, but the afl made all their suburban melbourne grounds redundant, but suburban footy grounds in melbourne dont get that environment that the NRL gets at a brookvale, kogarah oval or leichhardt on a perfect sunday afternoon. Mainly because the weather in Sydney is conducive to such an experience, whereas its mostly cold, wet and muddy in Melbourne and its suburbs Granted when it rains, or if the games are on at the wrong time slot, its a complete different story, and nobody turns up and rugby league crowds are subject to ridicule, but I actually dont mind it if the NRL would try to preserve these suburban grounds, its sunday afternoon and its the greatest chance at getting that magical atmosphere that very few sports in Australia actually get
