How many weeks for Merrin? I'd say close to 4 but he'll most likely get off.

It would be interesting if NSW continue to select Mitchell Pearce. Lives off his old mans legacy

Superb first half from us. I do wonder how Hopoate is even playing origin averaging just over 3 metres a run tonight.

Refs far too overwhelmed by the crowd LOL. I reckon Ennis was a liability tonight, started most of the fights and gave away a heap of pens. Could see from the first pen he gave away in the first few minutes that it was going to be one of those nights. -PB

Get Rekt NSW Beau Scott would have been my pick for man of the series but Parker is fair.

Beau Scott would have been my pick for man of the series but Parker is fair. Very strange call. Over the combined 3 matches he played an average of 51 minutes a game. 12 runs in total (across the whole series) for 77 metres. No try assists, 1 offload, 4 tackle breaks and a line-break (in which the latter two occurred in the one game) 1 error, 2 penalties conceded. An average of 21 tackles a game. Its not like he even had an impact like a Klemmer or Woods to make up for his below par stats. All in all he was probably the most ineffective forward of the series let alone being the man of the series.

I'm horrified with myself. TBH it's mostly because i've just switched to front row for my footy club so i like watching him to learn and he always seems utterly effective at not only making meters but always runs some very smart lines with the pill so he puts his backs in a good position for the next phase. He struggled a bit with the metres in game 2 but was still dominant in the tackle and was murdering the NSW forwards both last night and in game 1. Not to mention that he is a no nonsense type of player who sets a good defensive line speed and rarely, if ever, makes a handling mistake.

Geez Brisbane try and do something. Fluffing around atm and the passing out of dummy half has been shithouse. EDIT: Finally someone actually ran with speed and got a pass. Easy. -PB Edited by paulbagzFC: 11/7/2015 07:56:06 PM
