+x+xKruse can't play this week, even if he had a run in the youth league last week. just shows how desperate we are. I think we should just cop this week on the chin - except we stuffed up - and play a youth team. then re-focus/start again next week. I say pack the squad with defensive players. Park the bus and play for a 0-0 draw. Maybe hope for some individual Ola brilliance to pick up a goal for a win. Unless Kruse is 100% good to go, it's too risky to play him in this game. With all the other attackers out, he will cop way too much attention in a game like this. It's got re-injury written all over it. We won't play Kruse if he isn't 100% IMO. He has been training for two or three weeks and played the youth friendly last week. That should be plenty to suggest he is ready to play. My guess is he will get 20 or 30 minutes of the bench.

Hoogland was out with a hamstring injury (that's what the club has reported for the past 6 weeks)but now the club is saying he has a quad injury. What's going on?

Hopefully Nabbout can play some meaningful minutes. I doubt he'll start?

MV can't keep losing forever, it will turn around at some point.
I'm nervous coz this is a typical Kurtz game to win.
Frankly I'd be happy with a draw here and then 2 wins in the next two home games vs Wellintgon and newcastle.

When match fit, Kruse or Nabbout should be the attacking mid, and that leaves Elvis on his wing. Lauton might be best option as central mid, if its not Poulsen going forward.

I'd like to see the front 4 rotate positions to make us less predictable. Both Kruse and Nabbout can also play as a striker. Ola can play as an AM. perhaps that is in Kurz's plan when we get everyone fit and firing?

Melb Victory will start to gain traction from about now and Kurz will start to feel the love eventually. Injuries are unfair. Rotating the front third is a ploy quite afew teams use to great affect, during matches.

A Toivonen injury away from the wooden spoon.
Still think they will steady to finish 5th or 6th, midfield is absolute garbage though.
