He did say when Alana interviewed him ‘they’re all over there but I can’t touch them’... Origin and plays til he’s 40 retiring on the back of a threepeat...

Thank god I don’t have to hear another Gus Gould story on all the players he’s picked up from the bush for the Panthers....
It reminds me of a time a young bloke came up to me at school & all his classmates saying numerous times he’s from Wagga & is the nephew of cricketing great Bill O’Reilly. This young bloke would go on to be school captain..... and that’s where it all ended for him

Not sure if they were family bubble kids or others.

I have no beef with the penalty try given to Melbourne...as the rule is fairly specific I don't believe any one bar Gould could...but then again I didn't take out a second mortgage to back the Panthers.

Can we finally cut the BS and have the TV broadcasters just come out and confirm that the ratings numbers are calculated based on either a secret device inside people's TV's that returns channel feedback or they calculate it based on signal strength and loss.
Dont sit there and tell us that you have a significant amount of people on a survey system and you extrapolate figures. That's a toss.

Steve, it was excruciating listening to him at times.
Yesterday’s game remindeded me of the 2012 GF..... Bellamy nullified all our threats on that day as he did yesterday.
A great coach.....

A great coach..... I always find Gould favours one team in his call and given his reputation as a punter I assume that is the team he has his money on.

Dave Riccio just tweeted
Flanagan 3yr deal to Dogs worth $1m
Good deal without breaking the bank without doubt & the Scum will contribute $100k to his deal for 2021 as well.

Flanno hopefully turns out to be a great signing. I’m not overly confident but it certainly helps to have a half that can kick goals

Overall I am happy that Baz can improve our attack, the Panthers side were impressive. True he had a lot of talent to work with.

On the GF the Suli intercept was critical, 9 times out of 10 that play works for the attack. The intercept attempt was partially desperation.
But really dropped balls from Api and Kickau cost the Panthers.
Api kocking the ball out of Smiths hands for a try also cost them.
Both are good players who just had a bad day.
Api was playing injured, Kickau was a bit rusty, if both just have an average day, or Suli misses the intercept the Panthers probably win.
In big games keeping your error rate low and staying composed is half the battle. The errors were nothing to do with coaching. Roll on 21.

Big Nelson also ran a great line for the Pap-leederhouzen try, just a well put together and executed try. The Fox offload for the first try was also class.
Overal a good GF would have been better if it was a genuine contest for longer.
