I have no beef with the penalty try given to Melbourne...as the rule is fairly specific I don't believe any one bar Gould could...but then again I didn't take out a second mortgage to back the Panthers.

Can we finally cut the BS and have the TV broadcasters just come out and confirm that the ratings numbers are calculated based on either a secret device inside people's TV's that returns channel feedback or they calculate it based on signal strength and loss.

Dont sit there and tell us that you have a significant amount of people on a survey system and you extrapolate figures. That's a toss. 

I always find Gould favours one team in his call and given his reputation as a punter I assume that is the team he has his money on.

Flanno hopefully turns out to be a great signing. I’m not overly confident but it certainly helps to have a half that can kick goals

Has a good passing game (unlike Lewis) & can kick goals with ease (Wakeham & Averillo goal kicking are poor)

Anything else Flanagan brings will be a bonus

Our team also needs a calm organising half, at least until Wakeham and Averillo get more experience.

Overall I am happy that Baz can improve our attack, the Panthers side were impressive.
True he had a lot of talent to work with.

On the GF the Suli intercept was critical, 9 times out of 10 that play works for the attack. 
The intercept attempt was partially desperation.

But really dropped balls from Api and Kickau cost the Panthers.

Api kocking the ball out of Smiths hands for a try also cost them.

Both are good players who just had a bad day.

Api was playing injured, Kickau was a bit rusty, if both just have an average day, or Suli misses the intercept the Panthers probably win.

In big games keeping your error rate low and staying composed is half the battle.
The errors were nothing to do with coaching. Roll on 21.

Big Nelson also ran a great line for the Pap-leederhouzen try, just a well put together and executed try.
The Fox offload for the first try was also class.

Overal a good GF would have been better if it was a genuine contest for longer.
