I know some want to see them fail to say I told you so, along with a myriad of other agendas that some keep pushing at every turn. The reality is the game has its faults by the amount of power plays and agendas in motion at every opportunity just rips the game apart.
Let’s hope they build it soon and can finally silence those doubters. No I dont want them to fail so I can be proven right... at all. The justification of my oppinions by a bunch of strangers in cyberspace is just not that important sorry. I just am so furious that Loweys absolute blind hatred of Greeks, Croatians and some Italians has led to him allowing a bunch of shady "investors" use the FFA as cover for a land grab disguised as the promise of a better soccee future. And so called fellow soccer fans in this country, with its multiculturalism and acceptance of everything and everyone, not only allowed it to happen, but uses any means to justify it... You are ALL being taken for a ride by these guys but your hatred of the "ethnics" is more important eh? Once again, you go on about things like you know everyone’s reasoning and conclude things trying to pinpoint one reason. I’m an ‘ethnic’ And have no issue with former NSL clubs joining, but I look on and see that the approach taken may have put many of those making decisions offside.
The game needs to find a better balance of inclusivity, but the constant negativity that many push does that cause no favours. It’s not easy to look on and think that things should be better, but find an approach that isn’t as jarring in the process.

I want Second DIv as well. If SM play Preston or Sydney Croatia play Rockdale Illinden and so on, then political issues and violence occurs, they would be excluded from Second Div and back to NPL, it is not hard to figure that out. Gone is any chance of A League entry as well. We know the older generations educate hate to the younger ones and the garbage continues, it is that easy. Sure, ok so when the RBB march down collins street burning flares and breaking windows do we exclude them from both divisions too? Or when fans stab each other in Adelaide or on Swan st etc etc. Stop repeatimg the same old dumb shit all the other muppets have been saying for years bud, your better than that. Violence is violence, bad behaviour is the same whether the thugs are chanting "Hellas" or "Wanderers" LOL ........ the RBB’s football cultured were tame by comparison and under control in no time whilst the Hellas’, Croatia’s etc you couldn’t control and prevalent to the last day of the defunct NSL. Yeah I remember many instances of NSL games where they threw bottles at women.... those ugly hooligans.... correct never happened. because the number of women at NSL matches was basically zero.

If you were a MK fan, even just in a casual way, how can you possibly support another club, or even a league in general, whos very existence relies on your club being excluded from it forever? You hope for an NSD that Knights may be allowed to jojn but why should they have to and WU can just pay 18mil and be in., why cant MK go to their members if they want too, raise the cash and be given a license? Sorry, this is BS, a place in the top tier should be won via performance and not bought via cash payments. I love the passion for the NSL and the ethnics but I am sorry to say that by so desperately trying to join the AL (3 attempts) SMH is a wannabe plastic and not much better than the other franchisees you complain about. What performance did the Aleague franchises provide to get into the top tier in 2005? Who did they beat to get "promoted"? they don't have to. they paid to build the damned thing. they get to play as a result.

What performance did the Aleague franchises provide to get into the top tier in 2005? Who did they beat to get "promoted"? Its actually worse than that, the FFA at the time exclude many of the effnik clubs because they werent "financial" enough but secretly lent MV money so they could meet the criteria! Not to mention FFA chairman was shareholder of SFC so what a surprise they got accepted. How corrupt is that. Karma is a bitcha nd it is all coming back to bite them. SMH would be better off in the NSD as interest in AL is dying rapidly. Yeah I know mate, that's why I am angry all the time :) It wasn't a secret at the time either. Something about money going to the new guard and not the "pumpkin seed eaters" at Bob Jane. The bad thing is that people turn a blind eye to this and blame the "old wogs" for as my buddy below says, not being financial stable at the time. Ah well, I guess Ill just have to be happy with NSD or Championship or whatever they are going to call it... no-one is turning a blind. we all knew then and know now they were de-wogging professional football. as a ẁog and on behalf of many other wogs, we're glad it was done. it needed it to be

Its actually worse than that, the FFA at the time exclude many of the effnik clubs because they werent "financial" enough but secretly lent MV money so they could meet the criteria! Not to mention FFA chairman was shareholder of SFC so what a surprise they got accepted. How corrupt is that. Karma is a bitcha nd it is all coming back to bite them. SMH would be better off in the NSD as interest in AL is dying rapidly. Yeah I know mate, that's why I am angry all the time :) It wasn't a secret at the time either. Some of them paid, others didnt, but whatever makes ypu feel better about it sorry who of the A-league license holders didnt pay a license fee? Macafthur now and Victory in 2005.... for starters. victory had 90% private funding. not sure what mac's deal is. still if the clubs and the FFA are ok with it and paying they get to choose who joins

We can all look back on things with nostalgia and think that things were better than they were, and the NSL is no different. I liked it for what it was at the time, but thee were many issues to overcome. The visibility of the competition makes the A Keague look like a shining beacon in comparison, as the NSL was rarely even mentioned. The most media it got was when crowd troubles occurred.
The C7 deal ultimately brought things to a close, but it was on shaky ground for some time. We can all look on and try and hypothesise whether Fox Sports would have signed on to televise a refreshed A League with only the existing clubs, but ultimately we just don’t know what would have happened.
The game continues to evolve, but we do need to find ways to celebrate our past too. Mistakes have been made along the way, but once again, the constant negativity gets us nowhere.

I know some want to see them fail to say I told you so, along with a myriad of other agendas that some keep pushing at every turn. The reality is the game has its faults by the amount of power plays and agendas in motion at every opportunity just rips the game apart.
Let’s hope they build it soon and can finally silence those doubters. No I dont want them to fail so I can be proven right... at all. The justification of my oppinions by a bunch of strangers in cyberspace is just not that important sorry. I just am so furious that Loweys absolute blind hatred of Greeks, Croatians and some Italians has led to him allowing a bunch of shady "investors" use the FFA as cover for a land grab disguised as the promise of a better soccee future. And so called fellow soccer fans in this country, with its multiculturalism and acceptance of everything and everyone, not only allowed it to happen, but uses any means to justify it... You are ALL being taken for a ride by these guys but your hatred of the "ethnics" is more important eh? Once again, you go on about things like you know everyone’s reasoning and conclude things trying to pinpoint one reason. I’m an ‘ethnic’ And have no issue with former NSL clubs joining, but I look on and see that the approach taken may have put many of those making decisions offside.

What performance did the Aleague franchises provide to get into the top tier in 2005? Who did they beat to get "promoted"? Its actually worse than that, the FFA at the time exclude many of the effnik clubs because they werent "financial" enough but secretly lent MV money so they could meet the criteria! Not to mention FFA chairman was shareholder of SFC so what a surprise they got accepted. How corrupt is that. Karma is a bitcha nd it is all coming back to bite them. SMH would be better off in the NSD as interest in AL is dying rapidly. Yeah I know mate, that's why I am angry all the time :) It wasn't a secret at the time either. Something about money going to the new guard and not the "pumpkin seed eaters" at Bob Jane. The bad thing is that people turn a blind eye to this and blame the "old wogs" for as my buddy below says, not being financial stable at the time.
