It was a lie anyway the Chinese financial backers have packed up and gone home and all thats left is a crap bid with no substance or plan.

I honestly think they can just go with some form of Macarthur. Doesn't Macarthur already cover Campbelltown? Those aware of the incoming team already know they're a team for whole of the South West so I don't think there'll be any kind of identity crisis, and they'll have plenty of time to continue to brand themselves as that as more and more people become aware of them. They're pushing 20,000 likes on facebook (metrixxx lol) and that'll just continue to grow as they make more announcements and their inclusion gets closer.

I'm excited to hear how the fan forums go, I think they're going about it in the right way so far. It obviously helps tremendously that they have a little more time than Western United.

Side note: When are they entering the FFA Cup? Would love it if they entered next year alongside Western United (2020) prior to their first a-league season. Would be a big boost for the cup.

Isn't this sorta happening in Brisbane with the Brisbane City bid?

It would be interesting to see if an NPL club could amalgamate with a HAL bid. 

Macarthur FC or Campbelltown FC

Could they just use the Macarthur Rams? To me name is   football in that region. their any relationship with the existing NPL club. 
Also with all the Hakeem news lately, I really like seeing the Pasco Vale logo one of the better NPL ones.

Really don’t want another United. Needs something else. 2 expansion clubs with that in it wouldn’t exactly seem that wise, but it will all depend what the fans want.

One thing is for sure, they have their stuff in order more than Western United do in terms of fan engagement, and they have more time to go until they need to be ready. Western United seem to have forgotten what fan forums are.

How about Cumberland after the Cumberland plain. Covers both areas but not exclusively

It runs into similar issues as Western United, where they are trying to represent a couple of areas in one. Athletic Club South West Sydney or South West FC? It’s hard wherever they turn on this one.
