+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xThere's a pattern of injuries emerging when he arrives at a new club. It happened at Celtic when he had to play youth team players in Europe, and its happening here again. Some is bad luck but some is also bad management. I think its the way he manages the ramp up in physical intensity of his players both in training and in games when he comes, its too much too quick. What else can he do? Players have to adjust. They'll be better for it in the long term. He can be more pragmatic and less idealistic. No shame in having regard to the context he finds himself in. He gave up 3 points against Wolves for no good reason other than his principles. Don't agree with this. His rationale is if you start compromising on your principles, it will spread like fungus, and soon you'll compromise on everything. You'll soon compromise depending on the opposition, the weather, who's injured, who's suspended, if you're home or away, if you're playing day or night. Soon you'll find yourself like every other manager that comprises, inconsistent yo-yo results and out of a job. If you want consistent results then you need to play consistently. Why would that happen? You're compromising because you have a growing injury list and the replacement you have are not up to the job. No club has squad of 26 first team players that substitute seamlessly. Adjusting to the situation is being flexible and being flexible is a sign of a mature manager. Ange doesn't compromise on his style. Not sure why people keep talking about this.. waste of time. He won't change. He has never changed.. look at how far it got him.. only Australian manager to coach in the English Premier League. Listen you have to understand that Ange got to this position ' only Australian manager to coach in the English Premier League' by listening to his doubters. Mate, Ange doesnt come across as the sort of person to listen to ANYONE let alone his doubters. He has proved them wrong all his life.

Big game City away. They'll go for it. It'll be interesting to see how City play it. Absorb the press and strike and grasp the control themselves.

Furious start with Son giving Spurs the lead from a counter the unluckily but also somewhat comically scoring and own goal. Insane pace.
City having to work much more than they're used to as Spurs are going all out. Haaland misses a sitter now something akin to the second France goal vs Australia with a stupid Spurs turnover.

Game ends 3:3. Massive effort by Spurs but stupidly gifted some goals to City. No idea why the ref blew when City's advantage through ball to Grealish seemed fair late in the game. He was away.

first up I watched an absolutley thrilling Anfield game. Worldy goal feast and in the end Thankyou Ange we've jumped above City. Maybe we softenned city up for spudz week before haha..... Like our game the 1st half city always look like having the control and your waiting for goals. Kudos to spudz, what a great counter and Sons finish - the other 2 goals very well taken - gaining a point their is gold imo.

Ange needed this result just to lift the confidence of his players.
Also interesting to see long balls from Vicario in injury time.

It's so hard to love the way TAA, Diaz & especially Salah plays & still dislike Liverpool. Ange's Spurs did so well, but he admitted that City should've blown them away in the 1st half.

I'd say Pep is seeing despite them having the best GF to date they should be finishing more. Like the LFC game previous week 1st half, as Ange says they should have blown either away by HT. 2/3 game is over..... Thats 3 draws on the bounce for city whereas Ange broke a 3 match losing streak and yes good confidence booster FTB and at this stage just 2wins away from the top, 6 Clubs are within close distance but such early days. haha still dislike the LFC, need to change your ways. MaC's goal was a friggin rocking cracking first timer as was both TAA's, that spot kick man was peach ! yet a OG haha and kudos Endo getting his well taken 1st. Your LFC buddies would be grinning.

(the free kick was 100% not an OG... bastards btw) got noisy from Endo's leveler and TTA's winner my son came out of the granny flat to my place screaming did you see that ! In the meantime the Mrs's was asleep on the couch lol........ Watching the FK reply a few times the ball did bounce off Leno's back after the cross bar - IF I hadn't watched the replays I would have sworn it was in but for scrapping the under side of the cross bar. Yer I watched the first 10 of spudz but had to hit the pit.

Gone MIA from the team group chat haha - some said see you after the Jan window.

Great pre-game interview with Pep. He's an impressive man as well as a manager. He spends most of this clip talking up Ange, and gives great response to question re Ange saying (jokingly) in a press conference that he just copies Pep https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6CFhtKONbQ

However, since your team are now only one behind us, I have changed my mind. And, yeah, swings and roundabouts, at least you haven't suffered the ignominy of dropping to the second division like we did in the seventies. Cheers

Wow what a calamity between Udogie & Vicario (whose been excellent this season).
Ange's Tottenham is suffering from a lack of width IMO. Both Kulusevski & Johnson aren't wingers that will give you 1v1 advantage and get beyond their man unless in transition.
Son has been missing this game (struggles against low block teams) and Richarlison missed an open goal header when he came on.
This is a tough time for Ange, feel like he's stuck between playing the way he wants, with a squad that can't quite replicate it and a fanbase with unrealistic expectations.

So much for the "Tzatziki Taka" revolution.... Had to leave for work after going 1 nil up, thought it would be comfortable from there.... A bit of pressure on Angie now.... can't live off the early success anymore, needs a couple of results to go theri way to limp into the transfer window....
C'mon big man, turn it around.

That was a horror loss for Ange. WH are so so crap and its infuriating when teams score fluke wins with their negative tactics.

My hammers friends are loling with just 24% possession and away win, got to say that would hurt spurs after the city result. Home loss is a dagger short and sweet and in 3days a visiting hurt Toons who also will be keen to bounce back. I recall saying the run ahead when injuries struck post the 10game run would be a rocky road and lucky to get points. That’s 5loss’s now and 1draw. Really needs to convert some chances, 23 shots 7 on target this game should have been over with.

It looks they are in free fall with end in sight especially that they really missing a player like Maddinson who brings that creativity which is clearly lacking in the team.
I thought both wingers Johnson and Kulusevski were quite poor, especially the later who has been impressive but he's decision making in the final third was really poor today.
I knew West Ham would give them the ball and to Spurs credit they did very well in controlling the game but West Ham scored a lucky first goal and I knew the momentum would change after that.
They got Newcastle next, they lost to Everton which is surprising but it wont be easy for Spurs until January.
I also have a feeling Ange is going to blow up the entire squad if Daniel Levy gives him the blessing to make big changes because some of the players dont suit he's style of play.

Just a lucky first goal? You don't think, a bad back pass, a bad clearance, and the ball coming off the post straight back to the attacker is a even luckier second goal? It serves Tottenham right for doing absolutely nothing with the ball in the second half. Dominated possession and never wanted to take a shot, or cross when they had ample time and space to do so, it's like they were scared of losing the ball and it cost them the game.
