https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLyLFVhUqXYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJUnrZAXjIMSome interesting tidbits that stood out to me 1) some npl clubs ban academy players (that's wild!) 2) Ernie Merrick is introducing an additional 3 academies for the 14-18 age group 3) Boz is complimentary of the 9-14 coaching 4) Some old heads who were youth coaching in 90s in the ais being brough back into positions of influence lots of complaints about state federations being a bad thing without giving specifics

There is No connect top to bottom - Bozzasurvey of 40+ academy parents he attends for his son 95% don’t follow AL no connect - Bozza
FA only high five boast/boost Roos/Tildas sure that’s great but Where do all these players come from - grass roots - there is no recognition of the below - both Bozza Slater No recognition of NPL or grass roots Clubs There no merit anywhere re the below. We are the people who fund the games future players from grass roots ! It’s all TOP heavy Disrupter is wrong term
Coaching - it’s not about the Dutch system, Merrick has tried to instill changes with resistance, he wants to encourage attacking football and let players be themselves, surprisingly mentioned Ange play, not sure I entirely agree on his methods but I do support on changing a bit of our robot style of methods. Let outliers play their normal game within reason, encourage spontanious reactions.
Bozza says start a Football party to start pushing the cause of more funding State by State Council by Council, has some merit tbh for no one is listenning to this day - D2 is a local pollie I think ? Here’s your opportunity to start the motion :)
Thanks for the links Graz, I was keen to see these look forward to the next. I shake my head at people who have kept knocking Slater and Bozza over the years. I like hearing their pov. They know whats screwed up in our system like us minions might I say, they even quoted why haven't we got more and more of our GG working in our system/s and pressure the FA, he and Bozza are right, they prefer being in EU for football is no1 and the associations etc work for the game, whereas here its crickets day in day out, Ange said FU to the NT having been drained mentally, HK is kicking goals finally coaching, arse Muscat kicking goals not breaking legs offshore, Bres even though a short tenure here is you know where as is Grella. Yet many here bag the ol guys ffs. Read between the lines. As Slater says and as in the past, board members etc are not listenning (enough).

thanks mate, The GLOBAL STANDARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the points from this one I hear. unrest pre covid as we know, sugar daddys wanted to take control so unrest years prior, take over therefore its been sum 6/7yrs of troubles that again works against the game because the suits fight and keep screwing up incl the last 3yrs.. Trashcan/Hearne + have alot to answer for but water under the bridge get their $$$'s and run ! in the meantime your APL league is going down like the Titanic. APL being privately owned will refuse to let out the facts let alone a Audit where has 140M gone (keepup 50M we know) that should have gone mostly to the game instead of lining their pockets/wages/trips to WC etcetcetc Big 4 Clubs have alot to answer for as well, SFC/WSW/MC/MV who lets call them the bigger sugar daddys of the APL clubs have taken the/their game/league down the rabbit hole. Massive damage to the game Bozza/Slater address and they bloody well care...... Jets a huge piece of the puzzle to keep afloat - otherwise your an absolute fucker running this league and losing that important catchment therefore the game. Bozza, ALIGN THE GAME. WTF in summer, players he's asked, what do you prefer, playing in the heat or in winter on sub standard pitchs, sub standard winter pitch's please. APL obviously declined to speak with Peacock, for they care about our game so much they are too busy. .

Dont forget all the "jobs for the boys" Danny T arranged mate :) Slater actually DOES come accross as giving a fark doesnt he? Bozza just wants his son to have a career somewhere and (in my opinion) just doesnt give a shit, if things dont pan out for him here hell pick up and move to Europe.

So what has changed in 50 years of following sport in this country, agendas & jobs for the boys. But you lose me when you talk Slater & Bozza, they have their way we'd still be playing hoofball. big critics of Ange but never criticise their mate Arnie. So they are also part of the problem, mates (socceroos mates for the job).

I think the end is nigh and the APL is hoping that the FA will bale them out. I don’t think it will be that easy, JJ is no fool, he wants to build the tiers but not at the expense of all other aspects of the game.

Robbos they had goes at Ange pretty much like a lot of us. Stop playing that game style whilst we didn’t have the cattle capable through important games. They admire good football like the lot of us we all have moved on from hoofball. The rest as you say what’s change at the top - yep not much but different faces.

Id like to put my hand up and point out i didnt have a go at ange Both ange and arnie were outstanding in the a league amd both had a remarkable achievement with a modest squad. In anges case we won the asian cup on home soil. In arnies case got us out of the group and finished 11th There are problems in australian football, but the quality of national team coaching isnt one of them

Yeah, everyone saying geez I wished we qualified for Olympics.

Football is changing; An Egyptian is one of the best players I've seen in the EPL. Morocco qualified for the last WC semis. Italy has missed the last 2 WCs Japan topped a group in the world cup ahead of Japan & Germany. A Sth Korean is better than any Italian player at present Australia beat Denmark. Georgia qualified for Euros for first time Uzbekistan qualified for the Olympics for the first time.

Football keeps on evolving and not many are standing still anymore, there is more competition coming in and making it more challenging in qualifying for these youth World Cup/olympics going into the future and soon it effect our ability to qualify for senior world cups as the last 2 editions we had to go through the playoffs to qualify. It would be naive to think we have gone backwards when other countries around us are improving rapidly, the Aus u20 team is a good example apparently a strong cohort coming through which got some good results and performances last year against strong countries in Europe but its no given they will get it there way in Asia where its gotten tougher in the last decade or so to qualify at junior world cup level. Its important Aus football continues to improve and find ways to be better but the landscape has changed quite alot.

Would have liked to see more rotation in the group stage with baccus and devlin replacing metcalf and genreau in the 2nd game where we were parking the bus but in the end we were weaker than our opponents and he did well to make us competitive The 2004 olympics we had aloisi and cahill and still only got 1 win and a draw. In 2000 we had most of our golden gen and got 0 wins and even lost to hondurus

Posts since I totally agree with re performances - its the passed. As for the quality of NT - yer nah I'm not that impressed nor ahead till proven - long way to go despite so much changed re development - we will always have some/couple of standouts with hope like Irakunda for eg, he's just one like many before, prove is in the pudding. tsf is on the page as is a few others incl me.

+x+x+xRobbos they had goes at Ange pretty much like a lot of us. What would impress u? We have zero players in the big 5 before 2022 and 2015 iirc (maybe we had 1 in 2015) so i think those were pretty decent results Of course i want more players in the big 5 so that better results are expected. Right now, we punch way about our weight but our weight is very light. So thats a credit to our coaching and an indictment on our pathways

Sure under current circumstances thats our game but its choking/squeezing your butt cheeks viewing. Punch above our weight is of the past and recently how we got over the line in Qatar actually astounded me for it wasn't from over stimulating play but counter punch and lots of good fortune, the golden nugget Dukes arsed reflex flicked reaction surprisingly flys into goal type of stuff. Sure luck happens for every single team but we lucked alot. Our recent AC campaign says where we are plain and simple. What would impress me ? seeing a early 20 something show the goods like Goodwin in his 30's, not just 1 gimme 2 3 wow what a bonus, thats what will impress me after all this bloody time since my youth going way back before many here. To see players have alot better touch and create time with the ball more, be a yard faster, indictment of our pathways ? phhhf like I said the AC showed us up - I'm told who cares about the olympic results of the next pathway wonder lads, OK - seems excuse's keep being applied and its early days. Seriously no wonder - I watch robbos minnow portugal produce players left right centre, LFC academy players would chew our NT for brekky I expect and our olyroos in their sleep !. Some will say thats not a fair comparo and sure it isn't BUT that the bloody BAR ! Whilst we keep grovelling over the mighty APL, Lowy this god that god bringing the $$$'s in and Pro football and the wonderous league we have producing some new coming of age wonders, we have stagmented whilst other Asian minnows have stepped up and good for them, I am friggin jealous and angry !

If it doesnt matter what leagues teams play in why dont america samoa dominate world football? The club elo of our players is way below what u would expect given our national team elo or fifa ranking. Sire we had good luck against denmark but we had bad luck against south korea. It evens out If we want to be better we need better players rather than blaming a coach for not getting a bunch of 2nd div players to play world class. The current steps to getting better better players are 1) a league academies introduced a few years ago 2) an nst and perhaps a league expansion to expand pro pathways 3) 3 fa academies being introduced Hope it all helps. I guess we will see!

Graz, I know it does matter where our players do end up playing for obviously it shows they can do it to play in top leagues, my I don't care was purley based on frustration for each decade is "we need to do this first, its building it will come"..... 20yrs, some AL academies have been going for sometime and some took along time to get ramped up and operating from memory. Fozzi article in 2014 https://www.smh.com.au/sport/soccer/aleague-academies-a-great-step-forward-for-australian-football-20140322-hvljt.htmlCorrect re NST, whilst we had been in this AL "cloud" "barrier" for 20yrs nothing ever could be done to open the doors below, so now this again will take time to develop and prove itself its sustainable, fingers crossed a hell of alot of people get behind it ! So much time lost. FA academies ie Merrick - again another program held back for how long finally see something commence. Thank christ for FA/JJ, I hope this guy keeps on going and has a iron chest with all the barriers we keep having in this football melting pot outpost.

Imagine what happens if the crawford report was followed and the fa split from the beginning Nsl clubs probably made into an nst by 2008. We still have a missing generation due to the debarcle of the channel 7 deal killing the nsl and the challenges of football getting more technical and global. But we probably catch up sooner Anyway iffs and buts

The best I got out of it was telling kids to improve their touch, left foot right foot - the basics early
Our kids have horrible techniques.

Just read the Socceroos/matildas piece now.
Some interesting points:
The Olyroos had little prep going into the first game (no lead up games going into the first game) which is why they looked flat and consverative against Jordan but the panel questioned why Irankunda wasnt selected
The young Socceroos whom are a very talent cohort that it got Zidane to be impressed when they played in Spain against France which they won, although haven't played an competitive game since that Spain tournament due to cost measuring into scouting, but when they have played they have impressed but they got games coming up in June against South America and Asian teams.
Merrick will launch FA Academies specifically targeting 13-16 year olds assuming its to follow a model similar to Clairefontaine where they train for that academy but play for their clubs in the weekend, I guess we will find out about the true details soon and how it will work with a-league and NPL academies.
Merrick also has changed the coaching courses and wants all Australian teams to play a proactive, attacking style of football similar to Ange although im not sure what the specifics of it in a tactical and technical standpoint will be and therefore how it will look like.
FA want the next few years to be youth development focused with a big focus on transfer fees.

Channel 10/Paramount have not done any of this or not enough of it.

+xyep its refreshing and annoying for alot is going over old ground/probs of the past not just recent APL but at least its getting some airplay. The problem is & always has been the administration of football in this country, too many agendas. The APL admin has failed & failed miserably. I'm all for change, real change not going back to the past. I'm happy for airplay, but if the speakers are Robbie Slater, Bozza & Foxtel, well already we going down the wrong track.

The more administrators you have the more agendas you're gonna have. The whole system is ridiculously and unnecessarily inefficient.

The clubs, the association, the Federation & the FA all taking monies from the mums & Dads & none of them wanted to release their holds.

+x+x+x+xyep its refreshing and annoying for alot is going over old ground/probs of the past not just recent APL but at least its getting some airplay. The problem is & always has been the administration of football in this country, too many agendas. The APL admin has failed & failed miserably. I'm all for change, real change not going back to the past. I'd say the problem is simply too many administrators and too many board rooms. The more administrators you have the more agendas you're gonna have. The whole system is ridiculously and unnecessarily inefficient. I totally agree with you. The clubs, the association, the Federation & the FA all taking monies from the mums & Dads & none of them wanted to release their holds. to both of you, I agree, I now actually don't think the $$$'s are that much a hidderance for as we are seeing regos just keep growing, people are used to pay and overpay those who can afford and it seems plenty, its the countless ones at rep level who we are losing mind you who could have been promising players. Yep its all the layers and layers - thats the barriers ?? - just like local govs etcetc its too complicated therefore all they care about is their own patch. This is where the FA/JJ, surely he sees all these barriers for the game, surely. For how many other CEO's current and ahead do they keep on beating along the same paths because thats the system and its all too difficult to break down or heads. This State difference has been a on going affair for decades, no we do it that way, because were not going to follow NSW or whoever because our State is different ?! Like why ? we're all playing the same game, we all have NPL/Prem/Association/Div1 down comps. Sure there are exceptions ie Regional etc Like WTF. Why can't the FA bring out the big stick bring them all together and draft up a system for ALL Feds and in the end say, WE the FA have the last say, if you don't like that we will get a Fed Prez that does. Maybe I'm talking crap.

Maybe I'm talking crap. Could be wrong, but it seems the FA board members are always scared of being voted out. Again too many board rooms with too much power. If we look at something simple like the domestic transfer system. This is not complicated. We know how vital it is to football economies around the world. FA said in 2023 they were going to implement it. FIFA has regulations and guidelines regarding how this should be implemented and run. Yet here we are in May 2024 and still no domestic transfer system. Why? Because one or more board room had a sook and made demands. It's always you can have X but we want Y. Then the next board room says well if they get Y we want Z. Then the next board room says we also want X but we don't want Z. Then the circus music plays and a bunch of clowns dance around in circles. It's this weird mentality (which is not exclusive to football), that if one group gains something then my group must be losing something. Everything is approached in that way regardless of whether it's true or not. The result, nothing ever happens or if something does happen it's always kind of incomplete and just slumped over.

I could be wrong but I think the roadblock for implementing the domestic transfer system comes from the PFA and the a-league clubs reluctance to bring one in, unless things have changed I guess we will find out if it comes in.

Yer it’s ongoing merry go round and yet the 2 main bogan sports keep on keeping on in a volitile environment that the trend is mummy’s moving their kids away from bit by bit from their jnr programs. Union is a loss - check one for football to take advantage of. Cricket will hang in there but their time is the summer so no prob to normal winter comps. And here we are 2024 still in admin gridlock.

I've not studied it closely but it seems pretty clear the main problem confronting football in Oz is that there are too many different stakeholders/confederations who turn Australian football into something like the United Nations - no sovereign authority to lead the way.
Compare us with any other country - England for example - there is one over-arching authority and they can plan and budget without having to get any number of nest feathering stakeholders onside.
The other problem, of course, is money. The govt doesn't give anywhere near enough to football in comparison with NRL/AFL but look at the participation rates. It's ridiculous.
Mind you, if I was the govt there's no way I'd be giving serious money to football until it unites and gets its house in order with all noses pointing in the same direction.

I get what you’re saying and I think JJ is taking a diplomatic approach. He seems to be building a financially strong FA which will help combat the financially strong state federations.

Watched part 2 of that yesterday on youtube and it's horrible. Slater waffles, Bosnich waffles, no new ideas as to how to remove barriers and lower fees for kids. Bosnich saying it's cheap, Slater complaining but offering nothing. 'We need a unified system'. Isn't that what the NC is about? 'We need more academies, competition is good'. Wait up, last week we needed to bring the AIS back! 'We need to get rid of keeping scores in the younger games.' Well yes that's already happening at 12's and under. SSGs and no tables etc. Until another talking head comes along and says 'you can't tell me kids don't want to win'. Take a drink every time Bosnich says 100% and you'd be paralytic after 5 minutes. And Slater?! 'We need to know how the NRL and AFL can afford to be so cheap'. (Paraphrasing.) For Fucks Sake. If you don't know by know they have a multi billion dollar TV deal then you've been living under a rock for the past 20 years. I could go on and on but I couldn't be arsed. Honestly there's a million things wrong with football in Australia and I see none of these blokes offering solutions. THEY NEVER DO. Let's just start with a simple one. How do you reduce fees for NPL football at the junior level which are now capped at (and what most parents are getting charged) at $3170.00? Which would bring down barriers and increase the talent pool. Go.

Exactly, Blind Freddy can tell you all the problems with football in this country & we want solutions & these guys are just being bitter & not providing any answers. As Ange just said on Optus with an interview with Mark Schwarzer that the problems in Australia exist like it always has but the Mariners win in Asia was like a Rose growing out of the weeds

One possible solution may be to rethink the astronomical cost of FA coaching license courses that NPL clubs are mandated to have for training at every single tier of the age group for both girls and boys before they are even allowed to kick a ball in anger. As well as a paid technical director? I agree that the cost to play football (at a decent level) is ridiculously high but the fact remains that supply and demand means that for every talented youngster out there whose parents can't afford to send them to play there are a hundred numpties, wearing man City jerseys and CR7 boots, who's parent believe they will be the next Mbappe.

What's a coaching course cost for NPL? I thought it was around $4k but I might be wrong. (So one kid's rego would pay that.) Also don't we want qualified coaches?

What about the insistence of a Technical director??? WF? I dont have the answers, any of them mate, Im not on the coalface but its too simplisitic to say costs are too high because of the clubs....

Let's say under 13's to 18's have squads of 16 players each. That's 96 players paying $3170.00 each. That's $304 200.00. Not including 'additional' training sessions and the rest of it. But that's not my point. The point is we know the costs are a barrier to entry, to playing and to continuing to play BUT know one knows how to reduce those costs. Or at least I haven't seen a decent proposal as yet. Grazor suggested a lobby group but besides big ticket items (like stadia) there's no way the government is going to subsidise all NPL regos to the tune of $2 - $3k a year all over Australia. It just won't happen.

I came across this that was interesting. https://australiansportreflections.com/2024/02/28/update-on-federal-and-state-governments-funding-of-afl-and-nrl-high-performance-training-centres/Maybe a lobby group as mentioned for its seems our own FA just can't get through - even at the WWC here it was quoted in the media by players/GA has a few times - how about more funding to Football for all to see, nothing has happenned eh ? I wonder what Jnr costs are involved in NRL/AFL anyone got any intel on this ? Its a entirely different model/sport mind you. Hardly any National exposure re NT games but for the NRL WC/6's or whatever. I think elite levels leave as is for thats too big a task to work on at this stage its down at grass roots/Association that needs more support. To improve facilities and reduction on regos so as local Clubs get some cost breaks, they can also spend on improvements as well instead of just working their butts off to cover their season costs and get some funds in the their banks.

It just won't happen. A couple of "back of the napkin" thoughts from me are, each federation should be able to work with ALL clubs under their care to present a unified insurance product that will reduce the burden. Another is (which I believe is being worked on) a unified lobby to local government for reduced hire of fields and facilities, combined with a "package deal" on energy bills for lights and council rates... AFL (I assume NRL) subsidise the shit out of their grass roots clubs for this very purpose, we spend money on WC junkets and websites that dont work... $70 million pumped into grassroots would have come a long way towards player affordability but the "suits" see the hundreds of thousands of parents willing to fork out the high fees and dont feel the priority... its more important to provide a ROI to foreigners... and blame the "effniks" clubs for paying their senior players....

Ok. I have a lad in NPL1 Academy NSW. I coached him till 12. 3 years in this academy he has not improved. Some basic mistakes that I coached out of my JDL kids are horrifically allowed to happen by most of the lads. If some do something wrong they get hooked others are allowed. The coaches have NOT even mildly tried to add to his skill set. They have kids in the side that pay extra for private training by the coach. They get some benefits but all up I find the whole show embarrassingly amateur, poor, mentally hopeless and a sham. He has already been offered a spot again next year and could go to another academy nearby but wont be continuing. I'm encouraging my lad who has excellent athletic physics and great touch to think about AFL if he wants to be a paid sportsman because "elite" soccer here is a cancer.

I did a thread on the training sessions in england and i asked if anyone can give me an overview of what training their kids are recieving (aka a typical session). Can deebee and lfc elaborate? I did a youth coach training course in england and will do a thread comparing the development strategy. The spoiler is that our training is miles ahead of theirs but england compensate for that many times over by giving resources to parents and kids (videos of things to do with kids at home etc). Good training v bad training can take a kid from having 100 touches a session to 600 and avoid those touches being ones that reinforce bad habits. However you will have 10 times that many touches at home so focusing on increasing and improving touches at home is a good idea

Muz, thats all it is - waffling on just like on here. They are no diff to anyone in here, passionate and invested int he game but we ALL have no solutions, they and us are not the types to break it down and present solutions and directives. They arn't bitter to me just talking by what they see and hear. Just talk, no more no less better than nothing even though it ends up with nothing lol....... yes robbos same smae as always, I recall the wsw AC win another wonderful period of watch this space in the better times compared to the rose growing through the weeds of late. Whats gonna change/become ? not much but a good news storey for a moment and now gone. Graz I agree re Bozza's lobby group mention, thought that had some merit and hence why I threw it out there to D2 for lol's, I do recall he is active in the local Tassie politics.

LFC, we need change at the way we run football in this country & must throw out the agendas, both Boz & Slater were part of the Foxtel commentators, when Ange was barking out the need for change & they weren't so vocal when they were in the inner sanctum, but now very vocal when they were both not included in the new regime, like I said self agendas. Football has had a lot of good stories in recent time but like you said, it's there for a moment & gone & this is poor administration and marketing.

Same applied with Simon Hill and others. We as a game get no where structually let alone marketed and a seamless admin. Its needs to be totally flipped or at least its head cracked open for massive open surgery. I hate to say this for I know it sets us back and back but the whole game, APL, needs a bomb and JJ needs to pull the bull by the horns and get this whole show re structured with people he can find and work with him to re model our game as 1 down through the leagues.

I am hoping JJ can be the man, but there are too many with too many agendas that may try to stop him, too many looking after themselves instead of the whole game. Government funding is required Quality Grassroots coaching & mainly free. Getting rid of nepotism, favoritism, choosing rep teams on merit. Get rid of State Feds Simon Hill is very critical of the game currently, even though he is employed, but he does not see Slater & Bozza as the saviours neither.

I wonder if the APL will be "vocal" when they arent included in the new FA broadcasting deal coming up? I wonder if they will feel excluded from football moving on from their league? Maybe they will start talking about "uniting the game" for the good of all .... or maybe they'll try and expand into Indonesia and Vanuatu?

exactely above robbos, no way are the 2 mentioned as saviours, its all in JJ/FA court, he is the man responsible to put things together full stop period. I don't mind influence and comments from for eg GA/Ange you name it those with inside experience and even input from the ex players of the past, any feedback should be welcomed as long as it viable and useful.

cheers, Hey kudos to Hill I like him and not surprised he seeing his way as well. The narratives as he quotes works both ways. Don't think Peacocks side of discussion between them mentioned anything of going back to FOX, all those 3 explained is what it was way back then $$ wise before things started going pear shaped. Comparing funding originally to current. Now I get Hill sticking up for his side of the ledger for he did have a dig saying they are on Murdochs owned side (Codesports) whereas he's not the opposite. So thats moot. Defending worst deal with P+, well ofcourse there was no one else throwing money to the game APL had no choice but to take the $140M. He reckons its not as bad as it is, funnily both he and Brosquey quote why the KPI's are not met for not enough viewing eyes are on the game. So overall to me as usual, one side say their bit and the other says theirs, nothing constructive comes from it, same ol same ol.

Love his comments on the last few years with Fox & the A-League especially during Covid. Murdoch media is no friends of football in Australia & them via Code (Bozza & Slater) providing insights is like the AFL providing insights to the NRL. NO Thanks.

Na only joking, no chance too many with too many agendas.

He was in a social media fight a couple of years ago with an Asian Australian soccer fan trying to convince them that there is NO way an "effnik club" like South Melbourne would ever attract people outside their own "effncities" despite this particular fan being BOTH Asian and a member.... what a self serving tool.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xSimon hill on the global game passionately defending 10 and saying there has been no change to the tv money since 22/23 and also making a point of some of the issues with fox back in the day Firmer response than i expected Good boy Simon .... Hope he doesnt change his tune if he leaves the Paramount stable.... that would be a little mercenary of him. Well Simon is one of the few without agendas in this country, he has the game at the forefront, more like him & Ange & JJ & maybe, just maybe we might turn it around in this country. Na only joking, no chance too many with too many agendas. hahahaha... oh wait you are being serious? Oh man, no wonder we will never get anywhere in this country... OK. Agendas mate, I know Simon was not involved with the NSL. rob, I don't think its that black and white, I like the bloke but here's my take, he has his own agendas where his mouth is fed and where he was prior And I'd suggest he has a bone to pick with some fellow ex work mates, hey we all have differing opinions with work mates. I could be clutching at straws but you can always wonder. I was just throwing up the bait for my old Anti A-league mate Mono & he bit. Look both semis nearly sold out & we have had another doom & gloom year in the APL, runs on an oily rag. Like I said I'm all for change, but if you think Slater, Bozza & Sth Melbourne are leading the way, well maybe not. BULLSHIT... "throwing up the bait"??? How gutless are ya? You got caught out and you know it you old perve. How am I caught out? Metaphor evades you my friend, come into real world, goggle is your friend, keep the insults coming no wonder you like fox & Murdoch, they support Trump & Trump uses insults. "metaphore" HAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAH HAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHA HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA OK ... Ill let you go now. Go find some Simon Hill NSL clips to keep you amused... Back before he turned plastic. Yes imagine if Ange didn't turn plastic, he'd be coaching his 6th Greek club in Victoria now, what a waste!!!!!! Do you have a picture of him holding a pole vault on your wall as well? No players or coaches are PLASTIC my dear confused Robbo, they are just seeking paid opportunities. Ange went on from a small part time Greek Australian Club to be a fairly respected figure in one of (if not THE greatest leagues in the world)... I see him mention South Melbourne a hell of a lot in his conversations with the worlds press ... not much of a mention about the plastic garbage league eh? He mentioned Mariners once and you came in your pants hahahahahaah. ..

I won't mind if Bozza/Slater become part of the NST commentry - they are not ones to be involved of changes but bit player side kicks calling games no more no less IF that ever occurred.

Who is commentating in the NSL grand final with Fozzie below, someone pretending to be Hill? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR8VliX3FHM

I think both share good points is there some beef in there probably but overall both make good points with the direction of the league.
And we need a lot more of it, the more debate and critical analysis the better the problem is the media landscape is so small we never get this enough.
