I guess he was pretty much one since the info was leaked, you can't keep a player that wants out in a salary cap league. I would like to see us go for devere, we got a made replacement in donachie, but you always need competition and north is no spring chicken.

I loved devere but he hasn't set the world ablaze in Korea and we run the risk after all his injuries that all he's done is get older and slower. Bring back Adnan! haha As i said in the other thread, Smith's salary freed up plus a trnasfer fee, let's go after a class number 10.

Devere was doing very well in Korea, in fact he was very close to going to a Dutch or Bundesliga side before having that serious injury which he is pretty much still recovering from. He at European scouts following him closely. I was expecting him to be the Socceroo Centreback at the World Cup with the form he was in pre-injury.

Based on tonight's performances... LDV/Adnan (rumoured signings) should be coming in to replace North as a starter. Was culpable for at least 2 of those goals. Donachie was sensational finally playing in his natural position. Feel like Brown has done enough to keep Steff out of the starting team as well, has been very solid. Petratos looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders every time he takes a shot atm, so the goal-drought must be getting to him, but he really came to life in the second half. I have a feeling once he (finally) scores he's going to step it up. Ideally, first game back post-break... Theo Polenz-LDV-Donachie-Brown Sarota-Bratts-McKay Dimi-ST (Henrique's visa?)-Broich
Bench: Ricky-Borello-Lustica-North-Young
Only dunger is since Broich has been out its become pretty apparent Henrique's best position is at LW cutting in. He is far more effective there than on the right. FT seems to think Broich is a CF as well which is mildly concerning. Kurtishi should be shipped off on Jan 1st (mutual consent of whatever), he serves no purpose being here.

He will be even better with Broich and Mackay around him. he also droped deep to help take some of the work load off brattan. Petratos has been very poor this season.

Sarota has been out for a long time so itwill take game time for him to get back to his best. Petrat is trying but its just not working for him.Sooner or later though he must score .He can't be in an attacking position and not score. Also notice how Roar were sending most long balls to Henrique.Another fast player on the right would double the options.

Yes, has a decent touch, but he played a safe game - tried nothing, created nothing - just moved the ball on. Was not quick to make himself available and got caught flat footed on several occasions when other players played the ball into space in front of him. For someone who at times was a starter in the Eredivisie, I'm expecting more from him. Petratos typically gets the ball while under pressure from a defender, and has to make his own space. He usually does this pretty well, but his subsequent decision making (and finishing) has not been good in and around the box. An exception was his perfectly timed ball to Bowles last week leading to Sola's equaliser.

Hey guys! I'm getting an up-to-date list of the player contracts for all HAL teams. I was wondering if you could run your eye over the below, and tell me if I have left anyone out, if anyone in the list has left, if a player is/isn't a marquee/foreigner and I haven't listed it appropriately, or if any of the contract lengths are off? Any help would be hugely appreciated! Gee it would have been nice to have had these new guys signed, arrived and training with the boys already! Something tells me they've botched the recruitment again...

But i don't get why we haven't signed any attacking players. actually more important WE NEED A COACH. Problem with a interim coach that the players definitely know is not going to be there is it will lead to having respect for him especially when you are losing.

I agree an interim coach doesn't have the same power over players over a coach on a decent contract however there are other impediments. 1. Poor pre season - we're still feeling the effects and it's not going away (blame Mulvey). 2. Poor recruiting - we now don't have 6 months like we did pre season (blame Mulvey). 3. Poor results - we did incredibly bad at the start of the season (blame Mulvey). It's a rebuild year.

It's a rebuild year. I like it when people complain about how mulvey was sacked so quickly. But that list was damning, there is a question on who responsible for the signings, but the preseason was all wrong. then you go miller leaving (which i didn't mind that he was, just the whole situation) and smith which would have been down before the new coach had rocked up. Do we want to be like the heart or jets that here nor there and do something when there is 10 games left.

When your pitch is: "We are outside playoff comtention. We aren't able to pay you much. All our best players have left or are injured. We have owners who don't invest money into improving the club and its infrastructure. We don't have a full time coach. Our interim coach wants experienced players who are content playing hoofball. A former fitness coach has final say on all contractual agreements, including player signings. Oh, but we are in the ACL, a competition in which we've previously shown no ambition (basically throwing a game against Thai opposition to avoid the group matches) and have never won a game. " It's not exactly going to end up having class players banging the door down.

Perhaps the club is waiting until after the 26th when Ricky is naturalised? *clutching at straws*
