Would have been nice to keep the clean sheet, turned off for 3 minutes at the end there and just ball watch the goal in. Hopefully we fixed that up. Need to be more clinical up front but put that down to early season rust. Nice feeling again to be 2 points clear at the top.

Great to see close to 14k people there. It was an important win, hopefully those people return for the game in two weeks.
Brown was frustrating as he was caught out of position quite a bit. Brooch looked great as usual.

14,800 odd ...great crowd considering...
Edit..I was over enthusiastic 14,471 is correct. Still a great crowd.

I've been pretty harsh on the appointment of aloisi even though there is still plenty of games left in the season. I've been impressed so far with how he has us playing. When does Luke devere come back?

When does Luke devere come back? January - his quad muscle was completely detached. Solorzano and Donachiew should be back in the next week or two, steff 2-3 weeks and Ricky supposedly next month.

We need a boost in our defensive stocks, not convinced by bowells and brown. This is browns 3rd season and I want steff who should be retiring soon on our left. I like to see polenz and hinget as our fb, really polenz should be starting because its just a waste of a visa place when it is a bench player.

Love watching Corona play.

He was the same last week and before that. Disagree about Bowles. He has been splendid, very classy with good ball control. Also quite athletic and has height that he takes advantage off. Still young and need the experience for sure. North was solid and he with Bowles I can't see being displaced any time soon. It's the full backs we have constant problems with and there are no suitable replacements. A good couple of backs would have us fighting for 2nd and 1st by the end of the year. Not with what we have though.

Love watching Corona play. And it was the worst time slot, Sunday to boot. Could have added another 2 or 3 K if it was Saturday night. Interesting strategy by Aloisi. Still trying to maintain the Roarcelona a bit but reverts to longer balls and clearances when the situation necessitates it. Quite enjoy the energy across the park too which is much more evident when you're there. Love it.

I always thought he was a bit suspect at right back, but playing central next to North he's been great. Very composed and has hardly put a foot wrong. Plus a goal to boot in round 1 and almost another last night. With Devere out until January I can see him cementing his spot in the starting 11.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but quite a few people from 301 340 etc actually stood up for the opening chant with the Den. The only time anyone has actually stood up in the platinum area that ive seen was in the last Grand Final, hopefully this encourages some others and continues on. If we could get everyone just to join in on the opening who are we chant i think it would great. I was one of them and it felt weird because not many around me got up but at least i didn't get told to sit down, which the area is known to have a few grumpy fans around.

I would really like to see the opportunity to go onto the pitch with players more often. I thought it was a great thing for the club to do. The players did well in being swamped by fans and the suncorp pitch is finally decent again after years of rubbish, although things will can with those damn concerts. Don't know why they do do them at QE.

Letting the fans onto the pitch is a great initiative. Well done.

So how's Clut going... Is he too raw? Unfit? Not likely to get more than 10 minutes anytime soon?

Clut may have a wonderful shot but is not athletic enough to compliment the rest of the team. But still is a handy player.
