What are you being jealous about?

Him hanging out one on one with female friends.

Jealous in what way? You think he's copping gobs from her or you just want him to spend more time with you and less with other people?

Neither, I'm just worried that he'll like any of them more than me, because I know there have been ~feelings~ there in the past. I don't want to be that "you can't hang out with your friends" person, but I don't want to sit here feeling crappy and inferior.

Can I just ask what putting ~ either side of a word represents?

If I were you KC, I would treat it like this - if there's reason to feel threatened/jealous, he's not the dude for you. The dude for you would be conscious that it's risky territory to get involved in things like that, and would put an end to it and/or address it upfront with you.

I'm super lucky that my GF and I aren't jealous people at all like that. We both have very close friends of the opposite gender, but it's not even an issue.

If you feel like it might be an issue and you find it hard to talk to him about it, maybe ask if you can hang out as a group?

But like I said - if there's reason to get jelly/threatened. Hopefully there's no reason to, between you and your chick friends, for your mrs to get threatened.

I'd say just be the person you want to be, do not worry about anyone else, and live your life around what makes you happy.

You can only control your behaviour and actions.

If you are being a good person/girlfriend, then you are living up to your own standards, which is all anyone can truly ask of themselves.

Alrighty, new boyfriend problems...

I'm not a PDA person at all, certainly in terms of making out when we go to parties and stuff like that... My mrs is the same, to a lesser extent. However... When we go to parties and she gets drunk, she will come sit on my lap and just start trying to make out. Which makes me awkward as fuck, because I hate it and so does everyone else. I always stop her, and then she gets shitty at me.

Old heads out there, other than breaking up with her (lol), have you found any good ways of dealing with publicly over affectionate girlfriends (particularly the drunk variety).

When she's sober tell her that you don't like it and that if she does it when she's drunk that you will stand up and walk away.

Next time she does it when she's drunk, stand up and walk away.

Awesome way to get single, especially if it's new ...

I've found chicks that are less inhibited than other girls in public are less inhibited than other girls in private too. Give her what she wants in public and reap the benefits later.

Dude, I don't know you but seriously, everyone makes sacrifices to please their partner in relationships. If this is your sacrifice, count yourself FKN lucky.
