I know nothing about astrophotography but I thought those sort of shots are only achieved through special editing (light exposure etc) and you can't actually see things as detailed as that just by standing there

^ it would probably be like this  However they have telescopes tours. I still think it would be good to see the sunrise/sunset from that altitude. Considering you can be at an Hawaiian beach to a snow capped mountain in a few hours.
