Having a look at my results compared to others, my wall sits are at an astronomically lower time than everyone elses. This tells me either there's a misinterpretation on what to actually do. The way I did it was put my back against a wall, feet planted on the ground, and bent my knees until bent at 90° (so relatively low) and just held that position for as long as I could. The other guys at work got a way higher time than me (I didn't do it with them, I did it on my own) so they must have been doing it differently.

Nup. You're just weak.

Anyway, regardless of what we did or didn't do, it's about the improvements

EG - you jumping in on this challenge? Notor? Sob? KC (chicks at work are doing it)? Erryone?

Just don't believe in eating flesh. And I don't eat fish. Just in case that question was going to pop up. Iron levels are fine and I donate blood every month.

Gaining weight fast and clean. Half a kilo.

 my mum is one of those people who, upon hearing someone is a vegetarian, asks "so do you eat fish?" She also believes that she can label herself a vegetarian even though she eats seafood, chicken & pork because "I don't eat beef, so I'm a vegetarian". Oh dear. Intervention is needed. That annoys me. Up there with those who shove propaganda down your throat and tell you that you are a murderer etc.

Tell them to shut up and eat their lettuce.

More like too Jew to buy a decent scale. ;)

I donate to monitor weight, height, blood sugar levels and get a free feed. In return I donate a bit of blood on a rest day. I really don't buy people's excuses for not doing it.

Do you supplement essential vitamins and minerals like b vitamins and magnesium?

How did you come to the conclusion that eating flesh is wrong?

Not judging, just always interested in people's reasoning for going pescetarian/vegetarian/vegan.

All good.

I didn't use too, but since returning to the gym I do. I've made the decision 5 and a half years ago.

I worked at a butchers. Blood everywhere. Decision made.

If your taking protein shakes make sure you check out Bulk nutrients.

And that goes for everyone else out there that takes protein and other supplements.
I purchase off of them regularly and just took delivery of another 20kg of protein powder for a group of friends.

Yep, bulk products are fantastic. No hidden surprises, wholesale prices. Just be careful of some of the supps. Bulk are pretty up front if ssomething tastes terrible, but I was pretty taken aback at just how terrible the creatine and bcaa without flavouring tasted. The flavoured versions were fine, though.

I really haven't had a problem with the two products you mentioned, however I do know where you are coming from with regards to the tastes of some of the products.

That is to keep them as pure as possible I presume, as these products are marketed more towards the serious guys who will take anything and not worry about the taste.

I have had a few orders stuffed up from them, usually 1 in 4 orders over about 20 orders so thats annoying. They usually fix up the orders pretty quickly and its understandable when you order over 20 products. So I still recommend them highly after 3 years of ordering.

On the running for 2.5km. How did you do that ?

Treadmill or other gym equipment ?

Running in the streets ?

I did streets with hills. Just mapped out 1.25km away from home, ran there & back.

I guess it doesn't matter how you do it, as long as you do the same the next time you test to judge improvements compared to the last time

I know a couple of people did running track though.

I plan on doing and training for this challenge without the use of gym - some people at work are using a gym though.

Anyone else keen to do this?

Attempted 100kg squats for the first time today, easy mode.

Makes me wonder why I never tried sooner but I guess that can happens sometimes, you never know unless you give it a stab.

Hi all,

I'm doing a bit of travelling for work and enjoy morning and evening walks/jogs and 'climbs' (on natural walking tracks not roads). I'm keen to know good walks/climbs in both Sydney and Newcastle as I'll be there next week.

For instance I was in Townsville this week and went up Castle Hill and along Strand, Canberra has great tracks around lake BG, and Perth had a number of inner city option but I ended up going along the river then up to Kings Park.

Sydney-Newcastle watcha got for me?
