Edited by adrtho: 18/1/2016 02:05:07 AM Yeah i get what you saying.. Can't have Amini with a red card....but he seem to be playing it safe/smart. But with 15 min left and 2-0 up... A change might be a smart move. What do u guys think? Edited by slee45: 18/1/2016 02:14:29 AMEdited by slee45: 18/1/2016 02:16:54 AMEdited by slee45: 18/1/2016 02:17:24 AM

Cheers. Didn't know it was an option. Somewhat silly in regards to promotion but social media generally gets the message out there.

Who has been your most impressive and who has blown a chance of playing against Jordan?

Played better than the first game. Not sure it was good enough to beat the bigger teams, if we want to make the Olympics we have to make the final or win the 3rd place playoff. Good result but still need to win the third game!
Some promising individual performances, Amini was good, as was Edwards. Backline were all fairly solid, though Gersbach misplaced a few passes. Duncan was unconvincing, I'm not sure we can manage too well with a keeper who is poor with the ball at his feet.
Still, played some nice football at times. Deteriorated a bit in the second half but could've been the conditions. Hopefully we can kick on! :d

Job done, bit worried that Deng came off a bit gingerly, get him iced up.
Now we need to do it against Jordan.

johnszasz wrote:Who has been your most impressive and who has blown a chance of playing against Jordan? Deng and Geira have been great tonight. Should both start against Jordan. Gerbach not as good tonight as he did vs UAE, but nothing wrong. Borello needs to gel more, don't think he's played much for the u-23's.. Duncan looks the shakiest, otherwise I don't think there's anyone on the pitch tonight, that shouldn't play against Jordan. Mostly glad, Gallifuoco, Pain and somewhat Brillante and Ugarkovic didn't play today as they didnt impress

Deng's ankle is a worry but it can't be that bad otherwise he would not have come back on at all after he did it. After his first couple of touches being a bit shakely he was very good. So was Geria. The midfield was good. Overall a good effort but feel they should have done a bit better if they are going to make it unfortunately.

johnszasz wrote:Who has been your most impressive and who has blown a chance of playing against Jordan? Geria and Deng were good, Hoole had his moments and the DM was ok. Edwards passing was terrible tonight, Amini looked a bit slow and tried to play too direct sometimes, MaClaren didn't have the best of games tonight, niether did Borrello. Oh and Dunkan looked shaky, but he made that save from the FK.... Edited by moops: 18/1/2016 02:37:43 AM

What do coaches see in Sotirio? Sole contribution when he came on was to pick up a yellow card.

Mauk can play wide instead of Borello. Sotirio is a headless chook

Nice win for the lads, should be a good confidence boost. Solid defense with deng doing wel and amini bought a calming influence to the midfied.

0:0 draw between Jordan and UAE. Must win now because it's head to head as first tie-breaker.
