+x+xSpeaking of Behich, made a spectacular goal line save overnight source That's nuts. Behich is surely still in the reckoning for socceroos selection, despite not being as naturally talented as gersbach and smith, you feel like he is more solid defensively than the others. Pretty good, certainly got him pumped. Should get another go, regular in a good league and all that. Someone tell us when he is next playing, it would be good to watch him

+x+x+x+x+x+xBehich flying under the radar a bit, seems to have had a good start to the season in Turkey.. Hasn't been overly impressive in a Roos shirt but he'd probably be third in line now behind Smith and Gersbach. Would deserve a recall and another chance if he continues the way he is. Turkish league is quite strong. He would be in front of Gersbach surely What a headache. Gersbach for me is the most talented out of them all. Smith has amazing pace and endurance. Smith is the Ange type of player.. Will be interesting to see what happens but I agree, what a great headache when you've got them 3. Davidson who was first choice a year ago is now 4th or 5th down. We haven't even seen Elder yet. #PrayForRightBack Gersbach really needs to develop his right foot, he avoids it completely and it limits him considerably. At Rosenburg I have seen him cut inside a few times, but avoids passing with his right foot and becomes useless, for an example. But I agree, our LB options are starting to come good and will hopefully be ready for Russia. The bad thing is that the problem has gone from LB to RB and we badly need one of the young guns to step up, though Degeneks performances have been encouraging for the NT, never seen him play club football, what club does he play for? 1860 Munich in the 2.Bundesliga Cheers

+x+xThat save from Behich was filth. I liked how he took it in his stride. Haha he is a dick but that was a cracking clearance. Funnily enough my eldest is a left back and I used to show him highlights of Behich/MH games for lessons in ball watching and not tracking attackers. Hopefully he has come a long way since those days.

Saw the clearance on my facebook feed this morning, didn't realise it was him until reading this. Very Impressive!

I am not a Behich fan but that was rather good.
Mooy's tackle on the other hand was terrible and he would have not had much to complain about if he was sent off.

I know Behich isnt great but i cant think of anyone who is better than him in the right back spot. Mcgowan? Nup. Degenek? Nup. Franjic? Nup. Behich is also playing at higher level than anyone else in that position, has probably improved a bit too if he's regularly starting games.

I will hand it to him, he did have the presence to keep running to the goal line to cover the keeper (and subsequently pull off the clearance) rather than trying to mark a man or hold the line or even dawdle back. Hopefully his regular game time in Turkey has helped his reading of the play.

Behich is a leftback, not a rightback - not a direct comparison, and he's arguably the most one-sided player I've ever seen so playing him on the right would be disastrous.

Leckie at right back.
About three birds killed with the one stone.

If Behich is gonna move positions, it'll be to left wing or left mid. I think he'd be a fantastic left mid in an old fashioned flat midfield 4.

Some good news for Kruse with Bellarabi likely out until Christmas. He'll be behind Mehmedi, Pohjanpalo and Volland but should at least get a bench spot now.....

Great to see Goodwin doing well, would not mind seeing in the socceroos squad as an extra winger/inside forward.

Behich gets a lot of stick probably from victory fans but he hasn't put a foot wrong by playing reg. football in the last couple of seasons.

Degenek starting at CB. Amini starting and Ikon on at the 67 mark. Ikon getting decent comments while Amini and Degenek ars getting solid game time which is very important.

+xLeckie at right back. About three birds killed with the one stone. I started off hating this idea but it is starting to grow on me. It would be even better if we switched to 5-3-2 and played Leckie and Smith as wing backs. Against weaker teams where we dominate possession they would be almost wingers.

His major problem was 1v1 body on body duels. He was good going forwards and combined well with players around him.

I'll reserve my judgement until I observe how Mooy's team plays.
