It is great to see that players are being considered from both NPL and HAL clubs. You may find that as the HAL clubs start to set up their youth programs better more and more players will come from there. Marconi must be doing something right as there have been a few players selected from there even in the last group of 2000 born players. As much as I don't agree whole heartedly with the closure of the COE at least these players will be selected on merit and not based on being a part of the COE or not. I cant wait to see these boys in action and hope they do well. I know a few of them and they have great potential.

I'm looking forward to this. It's been a while since I've seen the Joeys play and it's always interesting comparing them to previous cohorts.

Another year, another time of our youth teams in action. Always good to gauge how they compete overseas, the joeys or u15s start their campaign tomorrow and the olyroos on the 19th with gombau taking charge.

Nothing yet - best bet is to check Youtube closer to the match kickoff - the Aussie match is due to kickoff at 7pm AEST tonight. against hosts Thailand, so might be a Thai stream.

gk dominating the penalty area well but his distribution is putting us under pressure

gorgeous play and nice finish

the defence is much stronger here and thai are forced to commit numbers forward in attack which led to the chance and goal

#7 looks like an excellent player

most of our take ons are succesful which is causing headaches in attack

our touch in recieving difficult balls has been pretty good

the most impressive part of our play is the ability for players to recieve a heavy ball, have a good first touch then beat a player with their back turned

And there's the classic defensive competence that we've come to expect from Australia!

disappointingly some of the finishing has been poor

We look good going forward but very suspect defensively
