Might be in the minority here, but I thought our combination play was the best its been this season at times last night. 

One thing I noticed last night and the week before was that Geria had far more license to bomb forward. He has a great understanding with Kosta and they linked up well. Geria playing higher up gives Kosta more freedom to play closer with Troisi and Bes, it just didn't come off for him at times. 

We also did better at finding Troisi in the half pockets of space he always gets himself in. Williams and Milligan need to do this far more often as every time we got it through ot him, he could slip it through to George or Kosta on the wings. 

George is really really unfit or carrying something as he couldnt run in the 60th minute.

I said a few weeks ago, we will still make the top 4 despite our shitness and we are almost already there. We'll probably finish 3rd from here. it makes a mockery of the league and just shows how far ahead Sydney are. 

I don't think you're in the minority here, combination play was the best it's been all season. Final ball and taking our chances is what's letting us down. Not getting enough from Kosta and Troisi, which in turn leads to Leroy taking too much on and not enough service for Bes. Bes is having to come deep to get the ball now. It worked because Kosta and Troisi are out of form.

Yep and always lost his place . Iirc muscy didnt want him  to go but had no choice  but to release him. 

No doubt at the time CCM would’ve offered Galloway a better salary and promise of first team development.
We would’ve been squeezed cap wise so it was a no brainer for him to leave.

Stoked with that, will balance out our midfield nicely next to Millsy.

Agreed - as much as I love Valeri for his passion for the club, it's clear he's slipped a few gears in the last 18 months or so (probably ever since his brain illness tbh). A younger dynamo like Antonis would really invigorate the midfield wonderfully, especially alongside the experienced head of Milligan.

Speaking of Millsy, he was back to his brilliant best on Friday night - perfect, long range passes; vicious closing down (it was his tackle that lead to the Berisha goal). Great to see, still the best central midfielder in the competition.

Antonis is a great signing. Bad for Sanchez.
