What confused me kast night was yet another tactical change. Last week FBK at 10 and Maccers as striker was a success. This week we got Maccers as 10 and Gameiro as striker. What f’king role was FBK playing then?

It wasn’t a personal attack on FBK nor questioning his effort; but Maccarone was playing 10 so making FBKs favoured position redundant.

Why not drop him to the bench and bring his fresh legs on in the second half to try win three points then? That would also leave him fresh for the next game in 72 hours ...

It smacks of Aloisi being too afraid to bench some of his senior players so he has to play them. But why not stick an extra midfielder out there and go 4-4-1-1?

Ive no doubt Holman and Theo will be rushed back into the side as soon as they’re fit

@Waz. I hope you are joking about Theo. Young pulls off at least 2 saves ever game that Theo would watch fly past him into the net. Even last night he was clearly Brisbane’s MOM.

Not joking but like you I hope Young both stays on in goal and signs on for 2 more seasons. But neither of those are certain at this point right 🤨

Unfortunately I can see things getting worse as players come back from injury. Every time a name player is fit, we’ll change the formation/tactics to suit them. We’ll squeeze Holman at RW and then when Franjic is back Holman will play at 10 and then FBK will be shunted to LW till Beautiac is back. Pepper will be squeezed out despite his form as North and Avraam come back.
The problem is that we have no structure or game plan that the squad has bought into. It is just put 11 players out there and “ok lads go out there and do your best” kinda stuff.

We’ve had some strange man of the match selections this season but Leck was the worst, it’s almost like there’s propaganda coming that “we’ve uncovered some good youth for next season”. If there’s another disappointing aspect of this season it’s that, apart from O’Toole, none of the youth are showing real promise

It reminds me of coaching under 10s, when McDonalds gave the club vouchers and you had to make sure that each player 'won' the Man of the Match award at least once. I hope Leck enjoys his Quarter Pounder meal deal.

Stadium Security got called to The Den last night ... apparently some women at the back texted the stadiums “anti social behaviour” line and complained about .... the group of 20 fans continuously chanting “Aloisi Out” 😂😂😂

Three players I wouldn’t want taken out of the side right now:

- Maccarone .. so much for fitness concerns.

- FBK ... the guy seems to give a sh*t

- young ... saving us from humiliation.

Only one I really want to add back in is Avraam. The rest are all just inconsistent, average, injury prone, or out of form. Damning!!

So with 12 games to go till the end of the season, Aloisi is looking like claiming the honors of having the least amount of points Brisbane have ever got in a season (30 Points) and the lowest on the ladder which would be last, the wooden spoon. 

Good times, deserves to stay on. 

Sorry, should have mentioned French Eric. He’s a definite keeper but it wouldn’t surprise me if he asked for a move back home in the winter. The whole thing must seem Amateur hour to him.
